I highly recommend these. They come in variable sizes which is nice but the lids work on every bin, as the sizes only change in height. Super easy to clean, I just toss em in the dishwasher if I need to. I dislike having all sorts of boxes and bags and love organization, especially in the kitchen. Gives a nice clean look to an otherwise disordered pantry. One of the best features is the clasp on the lid to create the seal. I have some other air tight containers that have flaps on each side and it requires two hands to open and close. not these! Just flip the thing over on the top and you have yourself a seal.

I ordered the 5-pc Royal Air-Tight Food Storage Containers about a year ago. I've been so pleased with them keeping everything nice and fresh and organized in my pantry that I ordered the 10-pc a week or so ago and have now got a much more organized food pantry. I have gone to buying a good portion of my food, including baking ingredients, in bulk from the local food co-op, so these containers are PERFECT for storing stuff in an accessible and clean way. In the small containers I have things like himalayan salt, baking soda, and baking powder. In the next size up, I have things like baking cocoa powder, raisins, sunflower seeds, and popcorn kernels. In the large size (2nd largest of the 4 sizes), I have things like almonds and dog treats. In the XL (largest size of the 4), I have things like various types of flour and pastas, but could be good for regular-size boxes of cereal, etc. I anticipate using these a good long time. When they break down, I may switch to glass containers, but aside from that these containers are exactly what I was hoping for to bring some order to my food pantry. I use a label maker to put labels on each container, so everyone knows the difference between flours or powdered sugar, baking soda and baking powder, etc. Labels of some kind are important, even if it's just masking tape.

These are of good, thick quality. I was unsure at first about purchasing due to the mixed reviews. However, I received the items, and they were packaged well. They come wrapped in plastic and in a plastic bag within a box sectioned for each container. They were new (so I didn't get anything used). Also, the container (without the lid) itself is made from a very clear, durable plastic. Once I washed the containers, they even have a shine reminiscent of glass. The lids are a little tricky. There is a rubber piece that makes the lid "airtight." If that plastic piece is not even on the edge of the lid, it will make it difficult to close and/or the lid will not be airtight. So please be sure to watch that plastic around the lid when washing. Overall they look amazing, and I am pleased thus far. I have only had them for one week, but I am really pleased

These containers are great! They seal tightly and are easy to use. I also really like that you can stack them. They keep ingredients fresh and you can easily measure out what you needs. The variety of sizes gives you lots of options too. I use mine for a variety of different items all around my house. My favorite use is for coffee grounds. I know they are air tight because at my previous apartment my roommates and started getting pantry moths. I began putting my food items in these containers and didn't notice a single moth in my food items. Even when I moved they didn't follow me to my current house and I have been happily moth free for about a year!

These containers hold up well even in comparison to the big store expensive brands. They look good and definitely do a great job of keeping my items fresh and airtight. I have been using them for over a year now and am now on my third set. I like them so much I keep finding items to store in them and make my food storage both fresher and more organized.

Absolutely love these. I finally got tired of not being able to see all the grains and flour I have in my "pantry" cabinet because they are piled up in bags, and decided to buy set of containers. I couldn't be happier. They are exactly as on the picture- good quality plastic with sealed lid. Sizes are perfect. After I was done transferring all loose grains in the pantry from bags to containers my only regret was buying set of 10 instead of 15. Luckily this brand sell 5 box set, so I went ahead and bought it. I now have 15 matching containers , my pantry is organized and I do not buy an excess of dry food items because I can now see what I have and what I ran out of.

Ok, here it goes. I always read the bad reviews and judge them over the positive and was a tad bit nervous when ordering them. have bought 4 sets so far and have not had a single issue with defect or lids not sealing air tight. They have been working wonderfully. My only complaint is that their tops need at least 2 hours to dry in a California environment to make sure no water is left in the cap. Understandably, to make it air tight, they would need to crest a hollow lid. However, if they make a version II of this product it would be amazing if the entire lid would come into separate parts to properly dry each part. As of now I take off the plastic rim and let the top air dry. But that is literally my only complaint after 4 sets.

I absolutely love these Royal containers, esp. since they are the only ones other than 1 large Oxo Pop-up container & 1 Oxo Cereal container that really do exclude ants from your cereal & animal treats. I bought and tried 5 different brands during my search to find ANY food storage containers that can actually exclude ants. (Don't believe the claims you see for most cereal storage containers for sale here ... I got ants inside of all the others within 12 hours). I returned all of them except this set of Royal Air-Tight containers and the Pop-up containers I purchased directly from Oxo. The vacuum seal on these Royal Air-Tight containers is superior; it's a tighter fit than the Oxo pop-up lids provide and I feel that the vacuum mechanism on top of the Royal containers is responsible for the good vacuum seal ... when I push down the pop-up portion of the Oxo lid, it does not always provide a good vacuum-type seal. Sometimes the cereal in the pop-up (Oxo) container gets a bit stale (although not the cereal I keep in my Oxo Cereal container, which is a bit large for the size cereal boxes I usually purchase but works very well and has a good vacuum-type seal). Overall, the Royal containers are keeping my dry cereals, grains, cookies, etc. fresher than either of my Oxo containers, and all of these were far superior to other supposedly ant-proof containers that I tried & returned.

Wow, I got these at an insane bargain when I wasn't particularly looking for containers but it was a limited offer in an email from Amazon and it seemed like too good a deal to refuse. Gotta say I didn't expect to be so delighted by food storage containers but when I unboxed them they were of such a magnificent, sleek, quality design. It made me feel so spoiled to live in this era. Their aren't several parts or a procedure you have to do, the lids literally just have a latch that you can feel pulls the air tight when you close it, and they do stack neatly. And they have a nice sort of a shine/gloss/purely clear aesthetic that I love. They clearly put a ton of effort/intention into every detail.

I bought two sets of these Royal Air-Tight Food Storage Container sets on an Amazon daily deal and am glad I did. I live in humid Central Florida and put crackers and everything else I can in this type of container. Keeps any bugs out as well. The Royal brand works similar to the Oxo brand that I have. The advantage of the Royal brand is that their seal does not intrude downward into the product area. Food has to be left about an inch down in the Oxo to allow for the thick cover mechanism, and I've found these lids tend to break easily. So far, so good with the Royal brand -- the top works easily, but yet firmly closes.

These containers are excellent. I wish I had bought more. I've recently had an issue with ants, so I wanted to move much of my stored grain and other items to air-tight containers, to reduce smell and accessibility. Since I've moved my food to these containers, the ant problem has subsided tremendously. The locking mechanism, while others have complained does not work 100%, I think works perfectly. I've recently bought rubbermaid air-tight containers as well, and while they work well, they are not ideal. The locking mechanism creates a vacuum that makes removing the lid a task. The locking mechanism in this product allows you to easily remove and place the lid without creating the vacuum. Once the switch at the top is "locked", the vacuum is then created, allowing for easy use.

This is a great product. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for my food, but in my case I use them for dog and cat treats. They're easy to access and hold all different kinds of treats. For instance, the tall container holds a bag of large-sized Greenies. The smallest container holds some of the smaller bags of soft dog treats or a small bag of cat Greenies. Because of the variety of sizes, they hold all kinds of treats. I also swiped two to hold cat food. I have four cats. Two of them have a different diet from the others. These are perfect air-tight containers and hold a tablespoon or scoop to make it very easy to feed them. Much better than a screw lid.

I use them for grains, mostly, in my pantry. I also use one of the very tall ones as airtight food storage for snacks in my office. I like the snap tight handle on the lids, it's very easy to tell whether you've really gotten it closed tightly, and I find them aesthetically pleasing. The smaller ones are great for a partial box of pasta or dried fruits or other snacks. They're very well made and while we mostly hand wash them, if you take the gasket off you can wash them in the top rack.

These containers are so awesome, I just purchased my 4th set of 5, as I keep finding new reasons to use them! They are MUCH better than the more expensive Oxo containers - I believe the closing latch of these will hold up longer than Oxo's push button mechanism (which doesn't always engage properly). This time I ordered a set to keep different kinds of dog treats in, the other three sets hold various snacks, cereals, and rice. They are truly air tight, user friendly, and stylish to look at - for the price, they're a steal. I would like to see Royal come out with more shapes and sizes (maybe larger square ones) of these containers!

WARNING: Don't read if you are easily grossed out I recently moved to the Hawaiian Islands and experienced something new and different... in a bad way. I got a weevil infestation. I'm used to being able to buy flour, pasta, etc and keep it for about a year without any worries (usually used up by then). I definitely can't do that anymore. Everything got hit: rice, flour, cereal, pastas... EVERYTHING except anything I put in these containers. Anything new or old that I bought and put in these containers is 100% bug free. I've learned my lesson. Tax money is going into buying more of these awesome containers!

My wife and I are definitely Type A. We searched far and wide for the best air-tight storage for our pantry before arriving at this brand. These are excellent storage containers. The click system ensures your product is securely stored. Additionally, the containers are not bad-looking. Our only complaint is that we couldn't customize the sizes we needed, which resulted in our having to purchase multiple sets to secure the number of larger ones we needed, and leaving us with lots of smaller ones for which we had no use.

I have had my eye on the Oxo ones, but they're so expensive. I saw a flash deal for these on deal of the day and pulled the trigger. I'm a huge fan! They stack well which saves a lot of room in the pantry. The sizes work well for a multitude of different types of food. The air-tight seal mechanism is easy to use, it is simply a level on top that you either fold down to seal or pull up to open. I am really glad that I purchased these and would happily suggest them to anyone. These are a great alternative to Oxo.

The lids to not retain water for days when washed like is says in some reviews...you just remove the rubber seal, wash, then leave the lid upside-down to air dry, then put the seal back on. Likewise, those that complained that they were not "clear" but "blue" are being weirdly picky. If viewed empty in bright sunlight, they have the slightest blue tinge, but be assured that in the pantry with food in them and under normal light they are clear. It would be nice if there was a larger sized container, but these are great containers. I have a large pantry and have tried numerous containers over the years. These are terrific.

I’ve been using these for a few days to store frzen fruits that I want to thaw out in my fridge. So far, so good. Easy to spoon out the amount I need and they look great in my fridge. Trying to be more organized and these are helping a lot. I just wish the kids were easier to dry. The water sits in between the seams so I have to shake it to get the excess out and then leave them in the dishwasher to drip out any remaining. But other than that, they are great.

After moving to the south we realized, the hard way, there are a ton of bugs down here! We had to throw out a bunch of food in our pantry so we decided to get some air tight bins to store our food in. We have had these for about a month and have had zero bug issues in our pantry. These containers our great except it takes some time for the lids to dry after washing them. They are cheaper than some other brands so taking longer to dry isn't a big deal.

I bought 2 sets of 5 (because of a ridiculous sale Amazon had today) and the 2 sets of 5 was cheaper than 1 set of 10! Anyhoo - enough babbling. Ordered today, received today (free 1-day shipping) I came online to buy two more - only to find out they are unavailable. So I decided to post a picture and write my review while I’m here. EXCELLENT & FANTASTIC PRODUCT! Feels really durable and looks gorgeous! I love them - I’m going to buy the 15 count right now. I wish I could buy some of the size individually. ***UPDATE*** 5 STARS for this seller! 5 stars for containers! The seller contacted me within just a few hours apologizing for the cracked container and stated a new one would be sent. I received the replacement within just a couple days and it was perfect. *ORIGINAL* These containers are terrific- super clear, good sizes, decent price. Only 3 stars because 1 of the tall 2.0 quart was cracked. The shipping box was undamaged and all the other items were fine.

LOVE these so much I bought 4 sets! Seals work very well. The containers are so very clear and haven't left any fingerprints even! Nice and thick material... love the way the lids secure so that there is no question to whether or not you've closed it. Have great confidence in them. Very attractive. Good sizes. My pantry looks great!!!!! Actually planning to ask for more for Christmas! :) ( I did have ONE piece in all 4 sets total that arrived damaged, but they quickly handled the return and I rebought... easy peasy)

I purchased a couple sets of these along with other products in order to protect against the intrusion of roaches from my neighbors apartments. They performed admirably at their task. Even at the height of my buildings infestation I suffered from few issues. Separate of the bug issues they have done a wonderful job of maintaining freshness and it stores neatly for great kitchen organization.

The really small ones aren't that useful for me but I am sure I will find something to put in them eventually. I wish the set had come with more of the medium size ones. I still enjoy the set and it was a good price. I will use them for a long time and I have a feeling I won't have to through out as many things as I normally do when I clean out my pantry again later this year.
