Saved me from having shots in my feet. I can't believe with a little research, even on Amazon reviews, I was able to pay a few dollars that would save me thousands in the long run. The first couple days wearing them was awkward but you get use to it. I wore mine every day and night, taking them off when showering, etc., and within that time I was able to walk around without pain. I'm almost 100% certain (self diagnosing here) that I have "bunionettes" which are extremely painful little bunions next to the first digit of your pinky toe. Also, it is best to wear these with loose fitting socks. I bought some diabetic socks which are more flexible because my pain was due to toes being pointed together, like a triangle, from years of working on farm, being a cardio/gym rat. So take some advice from a 50 year old and save you some grief: Wear WIDE shoes, WIDE socks so as not to cram your toes into a point.

I have a tailor's bunion on my left foot. I didn't know what it was until I visited a podiatrist. He recommended a spacer, but originally, I couldn't find one, but found some silicone tailor's bunion pads. They work fine. When I went back to Amazon for more pads, I found these. They space the little toe out from the adjacent toe, so the little toe joint on the foot doesn't stick out as far. They also pad the joint, so it doesn't rub against the sock and shoe. I put a little bit of Chamois butter under the pad, to minimize any friction between the skin and the pad. I'm also careful to try to keep it aligned when I put my socks on. I've only had these a little while, so don't know about its durability. August 21, 2020 It's been a year, and the first one I tried finally came apart. That's longer than any other silicon pad I've used on my feet. Also, I think the pad has straightened out my toe, but I'll keep wearing It for a while longer.

This was legit the best $12 I have ever spent! I have an unrelated pelvic injury/issue that causes a significant amount of pain in the hip and foot. Developed a Tailors Bunion on my right little toe metatarsal. I tried several gel pads. These work the best for me. Because the push my little toe back into the proper position, they also cause the metatarsal bone to retract which reduces the bunion. My bunion has just started and these little pads with the toe separator have already significantly reduced the pain and inflammation in the area.
