Never seen this? A self-adhesive bandage is a type of bandage that sticks to itself, rather than to skin or hair. They are also known as cohesive bandages or "cobans". Self-adhesive bandages are elastic and stick to themselves, so they don't require clips or pins to stay in place. They are water-resistant and won't come loose easily from sweat or water. They can be torn by hand, making them convenient to use. I first got these from the doctor's office and it was so much better having a piece of gauze and this than a bandaid that always hurt to remove.

This self-adhesive bandage works and sticks really well. When you start to wrap your leg, arm or whatever, you have to figure out the right amount of tension to pull the bandage across. If you leave it too loose, it will fall off and not stick. If you pull it too tight, it will stick, but be too tight. THEY STICK REALLY WELL, WITH THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF TENSION. You have to pull it enough to stretch the wrinkles which make it stick, but not too tight to stop blood flow. This wrap bandage needs no tape at the end, nor a metal clip. This is the second package of California self-adhesive bandages that I've bought. I'll probably buy it again to have around the house. Great product! (By the way, it is not gummy sticky.)

My husband had a wound in his lower leg that required daily dressing changes. This was perfect as I was able to get 2 changes with each roll. And at much less than $1 a roll, this was the most effective and affordable way to go.

Because of their 3-in width and good quality material found these Superior to several other brands for an old broken tibula that requires daily wrapping for exercise.. although you get what you pay for they're much pricier for the number of rolls in this package

I really like how these were packaged both individually and then in a larger Ziploc bag. I love all the great colors which are great both for my little kiddo and my autistic child who love bright colors. I bought this for my first aid kit which I am building and I think this will fit right in. I did buy this with my FSA benefits and that is just a big bonus. Great size, great variety, well packaged and the wrap itself is very sturdy and thick. It does not feel thin or cheap like some other wraps that I have gotten have felt. It does stick very well as shown in the video. I would highly recommend this product!

Perfect wraps for your medical needs. I used it for hydro-gel compress on a burn. These wraps are a perfect option for bandages when you have sensitivity to adhesive bandages.

I put 4 rolls in each of my grands emergency first ammo boxes. One of the dogs developed a tumor behind their ear which open up and was bleeding fairly badly. While the adults were OMG she went to her car and brought in rolls which worked perfectly for an odd position wound.?

I sprained my ankle (am 85) and it swells often so loosely wrap during the day only and it rarely swell mush at all now. Thank you for this quality product!

Just got yesterday, really need more time but I sed this to reinforce a bandage when the tape wasnt really working. This stuck to itself and kept the bandage in place. I may change rating later but for now I really like this product and love the different colors

I LOVE vet wrap! Self Adhesive bandage. I forget what i needed these for in the first place but i bought the pack of a dozen and im sitting here writing a review with my foot beautifully bandaged in this lovely stuff. Lightweight. It doesnt have to anchor around your ankle like an ace bandage. super easy to remove and holds gauze wrap perfectly in place.

I missed a step and fell. I sprained my right foot and broke the fibula of my left leg. Very grateful that I didn't need a cast. I'm still able to get into my pool to float in my chair and read with these excellent wraps on. (My legs are in the water while reading over an hour.) They continue to offer the compression and stabilization that I need. They do not feel bad or like a wet sock after I get out of the pool. Even sitting in the sun, they do not make me feel hot. Also, I have a latex allergy and have had zero problems with these wraps. I did reuse one wrap (That hadn't gotten wet.) I rolled it back up on the little cardboard roll that it came on. It was a little less sticky but still stayed in place. This product is worth the money even if you don't re-use it. I'm going to reorder the larger box!

I needed something to cover some large bandages on my arm after a recent surgery and decided to give these a try after considering several options, including a reuseable cloth bandage and an arm sleeve. These do the job perfectly. The fabric is light and stretchy - so much so that I had to be careful not to wrap it around my arm too tightly (a little goes a long way.) The texture feels slightly rubberized and adheres to itself securely, which makes for a durable wrap – I was able to rewrap my arm several times with the same strip of bandage to get the fit just right and there was no loss off "stickiness". And at a dollar a roll, It's good value as well.

Works great for when my pup chews his foot too much. He has allergies, at times after being out and about for a day he can sometimes get itchy. Well this last time he did a number chewing on his foot. I got out this tape and a sock and some medicine, doctored up his foot put the sock on and used this tape to keep the sock in place. He is a poodle mix and has sensitive skin so I do have to make sure there is either material or gauze between this tape and his skin or it rubs and causes red marks. So that would be the only caution I would give make sure there is something between this material and your pets skin.

The tape performed great. The only issue I found was it was twice as hard to pull off the roll than the 2” tape. Not an issue with the product itself and if I hadn’t been trying to do all with one hand it probably would have been fine to unroll. Bottom line fantastic tape but will buy the 3” width next time.

I'm an occupational therapist and have used this on patients but when my little dog started biting her hands and feet to the point of almost bleeding how I got the idea of wrapping her feet. It has been working great it doesn't limit her movement but stays on! no sliding and as long as you know what you're doing when you put it on and don't use too much tension the band will still stay on but also won't be so tight it causes swelling or constriction. If you've never used it before please read up before you use it. But works fantastic! I hope after a month of wrapping and rewrapping her which is why I bought a large packet, and the price is SUPERB by the way, I'm hopeful she will have dropped the habit. Because I wrap her legs with gauze first after applying antibiotic ointment then putting the coban wrap over the whole thing to keep everything in place it is also allowing all the sores to heal up and her hair to grow back. I have seen her try to pick at it but it stays in place sometimes she does get a little of the gauze out from underneath but the coban stays secure! And yes she goes up and down the steps and runs outside with the other dog with the wrapping on.

This is similar to what I was originally provided at a doctor visit for wrapping over gauze bandaging. I initially bought Equate brand at Walmart to use when replacing the original. For some purposes, the Equate might be fine, but for my use, I found Equate to be a bit too thick and not as reuseable. This California Basics tape works much better allowing more ability to stretch and form as needed without having to pull too tight. Also have been able to reuse/reposition with less loss of adhesion.

I beefed it on an electric bicycle and tore my knee wide open. Due to the nature of the injury, regular Band-Aids weren't going to cut it so I had to use the large wound pads held in place by bandages. These proved to be a great, affordable and colorful option. I changed my bandage twice a day and went through ~ 1 roll a week, so I still have plenty left over. The have good adhesion, but it does mean you may need to use more than you'd think to ensure it doesn't roll up of placed over a joint like mine was. By far though, the fun, vibrant colors brightened my spirts as a limped about. Overall, a solid buy.

I wrapped my wound in gauze and then used this. It helped it stay in place, sealed the wound and the best part it's flexible so it doesn't cut off your circulation. Highly recommend

once you get it on, you think it gives more than it does it really doesn’t but even an emergency last week I got 60 stitches in the emergency room and after I cut myself at home trying to open the box pretty much all the way across my thigh I thought what to do. I grab some of the tape and wrap the wound fairly heavily in the tape to stop the bleeding enough for me to drive myself to the hospital, I also did a piece of gauze to put over it. Very rarely you get to see your bone, but I saw it however, the tape was enough to get me to the hospital.

I like how it comes in bulk. And easy to use. The only thing I do t like about it is it has a sour smell to it. But o er all I would order more of this in the future

I have a high-drive German shepherd athlete who, in 6 months, tore a pad on her foot and then that pad behind her wrist being chased through coarse underbrush. It's funny that dogs bred to chase sheep love being chased themselves by their doggy friends. Before heading out to the offending open space, I wrap her wrists (above her front paws) and put her leather boots I bought to protect her feet on ice and snow on her feet. I just realized I can use this elastic, self-sticking tape to better secure the tops of her boots which always seem to fall off. Then, when she cuts her pads, I wrap the wound in medical flannel and then use this tape to secure the pad while it heals. I use the tape, too, to wrap sprained joints. I bought this product for its low cost and acceptable quality. Very pleased with this second purchase.
