Mandalas II Adult Coloring Book - 50 Original Hand Drawn Designs

If there was ever an adult quality coloring book, this would be it! Pages are thick, single sided, and well made. With only an image on one side, this removes any worry about ink bleeding through to the other side and wasting half of the images. HOWEVER, i still recommend putting a few pieces of sacrificial scrap paper to ensure nothing bleeds on to the next page depending on the marker and ink you are using. The book is bound with a sturdy top spiral binding, and each page is perforated along the top for easy removal. The images themselves are all very high quality, and offer a nice range of very detailed busy pages, and more open and large pages to work on various types of coloring. Lines are dark, deep, and printed well, but also super thin and sharp where required. Overall i am very happy with the purchase, and was totally blow away at the quality. At first i was a bit worried paying so much for a single book, but after seeing the paper and print quality that quickly answered my question.

This arrived after about a week. It is the best coloring book I've had. Really beautiful designs, from very detailed and complicated to more basic and simple. Very smooth and very thick pages. Almost as thick as card stock paper. I highly doubt any ink will bleed through. Even paint pens probably won't. I haven't colored yet, but it tried a gel pen on the page they provide for putting under pics in case of bleed. Very smooth. And being spiral bound with stiff covers eliminates the need for a clipboard. But you can easily use one if you like because pages are perforated. And the wire making the spiral is thick and solid. This cost a little more than most of the other coloring books I use, but the high quality makes it well worth it. I'm very happy with this purchase. I will definitely look for more coloring books from this line. In short, great book - highly recommend!

Absolutely love these coloring books by ColorIt! The book is spiral bound with a thick piece of cardboard so you can color anywhere without having to worry about having to use a lap pad or a desk. The pages are very thick and you can use markers and not have to worry about the markers bleeding through to the next page. I take my ColorIt books and markers with me while I'm traveling or going to Dr appointments. I've tried several different coloring books over the years and once I found ColorIt, I will never purchase any other books! I have a lot of health issues and I'm always coloring! I've even purchased a couple of the same books because of how much I enjoy coloring in them. I prefer using gel pens because they are easier on my fingers than coloring pencils, and I've found it difficult to find coloring books with thick enough pages to use gel pens. Thank you ColorIt for actually putting in the hard work when creating these books. When I ordered this book, I received this book exactly two days from ordering on my Amazon app. When they receive the order, it is immediately shipped and I have yet to receive any book from this seller in less than perfect condition! I've noticed over the years that whenever I purchase something, no one really takes the time to put in to their items. It's like most people care about quantity more than they care about quality. I promise you that you won't get that with ColorIt! With each of the 7 books that I've purchased so far, you can tell that they put in the time, detail and hard work into each of the pages when they create their coloring books. And they don't use cheap materials either. It has always been of high quality. I've been using the pages that I color in these books and putting them in frames to decorate my bedrooms as opposed to buying framed art that you purchase. Each page is also perforated so you can remove the page very easily to frame your hard work. I highly recommend purchasing this book or any other ColorIt book if you want high quality items for a great price!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Best paper ever!!!!! Love the spiral notebook as it makes for easy coloring and the designs are the best. Lots of detail too, which is very important.

If you haven't tried these coloring books you are missing out. The high quality paper and beautiful designs will keep you busy for hours. Wonderful addition to my collection. I will be adding more.

I'm glad I read the reviews, because that is how I learned about "color it" books! I'm waiting for the first book, but mandala 2, has a lot to do! I like the thick paper, and designs are only one 1side of page. The perforation doesn't work for me, but that's ok. I'm working with a variety of: sharpies, gels, colored pencils, an bic markers. I'm very excited and happy with this purchase. I'd also say, some of the designs are complex, intricate, but there are also many that are easier. I'm a new "Color it fan" Thank you!!--*UPDATE* Even though paper is very thick, if you use sharpies, or markers, you should put a cardboard or thicker newspaper underneath, pens will bleed through. Also if you travel with this book, you need to put in a bag or traveling container for your book, because when it's moves around a lot the perforations loosen up, an pages tear off very easily. I'd say the bounding of these books needs to be a bit harder to tear,(but maybe some people like to tear out pages easily; preference and personal choice I guess. I've used: Sharpies, some Le Pen's, and Unique Colors gel pens (120), and some other glitter gel pens (a few blue ink spill), I had to throw the plastic box it came in-so I don't remember the brand.-But the pens that didn't explode, work very well. Great product! Arrived ahead of schedule. Exactly as advertised. Great quality paper. Includes a blotter page to prevent bleeding but the quality of the paper is so good, may not even need it. On the blotter page is a "Special Invitation" as a thank you from them for the purchase - a link (which I'm not sharing... :p) to download 10 extra bonus pages to print anytime & color. It states these images are "not found in any of their books" (even though this is only the 2nd volume...lol). Second page is a "This book belongs to..." Which you can color as well (shown above as well). Designs are beautiful. Some are very intricate (one shown above)! Love that it's spiral bound. Makes coloring much easier for me. Can't wait to bring the pages to life with color. Great buy at a great price! Very satisfied. Definitely recommend this product!

Finally….. a quality coloring book with the adult colorist in mind. It is pricey; however, I think the cost is worthwhile considering all the enjoyment that will be had by any mandala colorist addict. I love intricate designs, and I love mandalas. This book has it all. Here's why I think this is one of the best books in this category that I have found thus far. 50 INTRICATE HAND-DRAWN MANDALA DESIGNS: Each mandala is well-defined with oodles of challenges for a steady hand and a bit of patience. While most of the designs are complex, there are some that must have been designed for those who prefer lesser intricacy. USER FRIENDLY SPIRAL BINDING: Because of the flexibility that the binding creates, this book will work equally well for either left-handed or right-handed colorists. It can easily be turned horizontally, vertically or catty-corner. No more fighting the opposing page, just turn it back and bingo, only one page in view at a time. PERFORATED PAGES: Page removal is quick, easy and smooth HARDBACK COVERS BOTH FRONT AND BACK: The hardcovers protect the illustrations, and enables one to do some lap coloring if a desk or table is not available. The coloring pages are 8.5 x 11 inches, with the covers just a smidge larger...for protection. BLOTTER PAGE: A blotter page is included. A serious colorist can never have too many of these indispensable items. Actually, there is little chance of bleed-through with this paper; HOWEVER, don't take chances. Be safe, use a blotter page. SUPER QUALITY PAPER: The complex illustrations are printed on white, heavy, smooth paper. They are not prejudicial and welcome any medium. I used some el cheapo gel pens, expensive colored pencils, mediocre markers and brush pens. I also used water color pencils with wet brushes. The only thing that I have a gripe about is the weight of the book. It is heavy; however, that is necessary because of the hardcovers and the weight of the coloring pages.

During a challenging time in my life, I got this coloring book and a huge assortment of glitter gel pens. It’s a wonderful activity for mental health and wellness. It includes some really cool designs, some better than others. I love it. A little too much at times (ha) and can get addictive when it’s time to sleep. Overall, a great seller and price. The best part is I rediscovered my love for drawing and went to the art supply store to take it to the next level. (P.S. My name is Amanda and my guy calls them “Amandalas”.)

Love this Volume II Color It Adult Mandalas Coloring Book! My two favorites of the Color It adult coloring books out of the five I have are the Volume I and Volume II mandalas! The volume II, this one, is a little more complicated than volume I and I love it! i recommend gel pens on many of the images because the lines are small. The Color It gel pens are great with the refills also. I would order both of them again! A Colorful Christmas is nice also! My least favorite of the Color It adult coloring books I have is the one that is half the price, the Best Of Color It. It had more images that appeared to be for a child. I love the thick perforated color it pages and the fact that gel pens or alcohol markers will not bleed through. They all come with a blotter page to go behind the page you are coloring. You will get used to the slick feeling on the thicker pages and love it! The metal rings at the top allows you to turn the book easily. Top quality and you can tell it! You pay more, but they are worth it! I would order this adult coloring book again!

I'm an artist that usually works with acrylics, watercolors and markers after sketching whatever pops into my head but sometimes nothing pops into my head and I just want some relaxing color time. I've NEVER ran across ANY adult coloring book....and I have MANY....that are such Fantastic quality. I can use every medium I own, mixed, water, gamsol, spray fixatives to add more layers and these papers take it all. Im speechless but so happy to have found such absolute beautiful designs that allow me to play and not think too much about "what if I mess this up?" thoughts. I see some comments about the existing black ink smearing. My advice? Use spray fixative prior and throughout. One cool thing u found is that I can transfer the images to wood or canvas using good ole Mod Podge only because the ink on these pages allows me too. There are zero downsides to Colorit in my opinion. Buy one!!!! I have the Mandalas II and the Steampunk book. Some books not showing on Amazon but you can find them on the Colorit website among other cool things.

Beautiful pictures! Perfect for beginners to advanced level coloring. Quality is exceptional. I sometimes color up to one a day.

Definitely very relaxing and enjoyable. Helps to detach and escape to a colorful world, can't wait to get through them all.

I love mandalas and have been looking for a coloring book of them. This one is great!

This is my first mandala book; I generally don't like to color because choosing colors actually causes me anxiety. Mandalas are fun because I can jump into a pattern and enjoy just filling in the shapes. The paper in this book is nice and heavyweight, and I find that it is smooth enough to allow my colored pencils to blend but not so smooth as to be slippery. The hard cover just adds to the bonus, and the top spiral binding makes me able to color every side at the angle I like without getting an imprint of the spiral on my arm. Some designs are extremely intricate and some are simpler; I need to have my pencil sharpener with me the whole time, but enjoy it so much.

I have been coloring long before it was considered popular for adults color. I'm always on the lookout for better coloring books. it seems like every book I have has either very thin Pages or The designs are printed on both sides of the page. I like to color with marker and it's impossible and most coloring books. I have seen colorit coloring books before but I always thought the price would rule them out. I finally decided to order one and the day I got it I loved it so much I went back and ordered more. The quality of these coloring books is amazing. Every page is a nice thick cardstock. They're A nice bright white. I could use markers pens pencils even crayons any medium and it would work very well with these books. the price may seem high but it is well worth the quality of these books. I highly recommend these books to anyone who loves to color

I love it is a spiral- so easy to use /lies flat...great designs and easy to get lost in colors and design...exactly what i wanted!

I know this is a little more expensive than other adult coloring books but it is well worth it. The pages are extremely thick and do not bleed. I used gel pens to create the two that I have in the pictures but I have used markers on other ones and they didn’t bleed through. I like that the pages are one sided and I LOVE that it is a spiral notebook. There is nothing more annoying that dealing with a folded in half coloring book. The cover and back are hard so you don’t need a table or hard surface to put the book on. I enjoy sitting on the couch in the evenings and coloring these mandalas while listening to audiobooks. It’s very calming and relaxing after a long day.

This is is really good coloring book. I have several from ColorIt. The paper is a good, heavy quality. I like the perforated pages because I prefer to take my pages out to color. And I love one-sided designs. This is the first page I colored using Primrosia markers.

Five big, fat stars for this coloring book. I really hate to even call it that because its so much better than the standard coloring book. I was looking for something with a lot of detail because I don't like them too easy. I've got alot of pens - and I do mean alot - so it's good when I have the opportunity to use a handful of different colors. This "Colorit Mandalas 2" is a solid purchase, the paper it's printed on is stout, my alcohol markers aren't spreading all over the place, my Sharpies aren't bleeding to the page underneath, you get a blotter for insurance and it's hardy enough that it feels like it has a clipboard built-in. The only downside is that I ignore my responsibilities to hide in my room and color in this darn thing. **Paid full price, no discount offered/given and I'm not mad about it. Worth every penny.**

I have only had a chance to spend a few minutes with this new coloring book (busy work schedule). But I so LOVE to color Mandalas. Everything from very serious, purposeful, centered, coloring historically correct, meditatively, clockwise, etc as traditional Mandalas suggest. The spiritual aspect is very important to me. This book I have assigned to myself for my more creative side - to color and enjoy with my more creative, less disciplined side. Absolutely gorgeous images, i love that the paper is perforated, I LOVE the quality and finish of the paper. It is very difficult for me to wait until the end of the day to spend time with this new book - but I must be as disciplined with work as with art so Mandalas Volume 2 and I have several evening dates coming up this week! Love it!

Colorit books are simply the best on the market. I have purchased more than 20 adult coloring books and wasted too much money on ones that can't begin to compare to Colorit. This new mandala book is awesome, all different than volume one, no repeats. I like the brand more than any other because: The paper quality is great. There is barely any bleed through, even with markers. They include a blotter sheet just in case. The spiral binding on top, right or left handed can use with ease. The hard board cover and back, this makes it easy to color while sitting on your lap. You can keep the pages in the book or remove them, they have a perforated tear edge. I like to keep mine in the book and most books you must tear out to color.

I have several adult coloring books, and I particularly like the complexity of mandalas. This book is easily my favorite. It has a wide variety of images and they are all beautifully done. You won't like this book if you're in a hurry -- most of the designs can't be completed in one sitting. This book is for people who like to ponder a design, plan out color palates, and take their time, working with the intricacy of the designs to create something really unusual. The paper is exceptional -- pencils glide easily and lay down color evenly and cleanly. The spiral binding allows you to lay the book flat, so it's much easier to manage. Love this book!

I love their coloring books and gel pens. Always worth the $.

The designs are all different. They vary from simpler to ornate and complex. I feel like I am creating a masterpiece every time. The paper is thick so you can use markers for vibrant color and no bleed through. I love to put on a book in Audible and color away. I am about a third of the way through the book and am so pleased with it. I am gonna put another one on my wish list for birthday and xmas. Coloring is totally absorbing and destressing.

The quality of the materials used is superb. I used sharpies and no complete bleed through no matter how dark I made the color. Use common sense though you can't soak it and not expect it to bleed through on any type of paper but this paper is almost like card stock but a bit lighter. The binder material is awesome. The art work is great too. Alk around worth the money. Spend a bit more and get this you won't regret it. Love it and will but more of these from this company.

If you love mandalas this is the coloring book for you! I especially like the hardcover backing and the spiral binding. It makes coloring much easier. The hand-drawn mandalas are beautiful; they range from simple to very detailed. The paper is lovely, as it is thick. There is also a blotter sheet included, just in case. I wish more coloring books had this type of backing and binding. Just lovely! I used Pentel Color Pen Fine Point markers. Excuse the slightly blurry pictures...Tux Kitty wanted to help!

THIS BOOK HAVE SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MANDELAS I EVER SEEN AND I ENJOYED COLORING THEM ALL. I USE ONLY GLITTER GELL PENS AND I JUST LOVE DOING MY BLENDING TECHNIQUES ON THESE WONDERFUL DESIGNS. Love that the spiral binding is at the top and that the pages therefore are completely flat - no binding to run up against. It's easy for lefties as well as righties. The paper is heavy enough to prevent bleed-through, and the designs are beautiful, interesting and clearly printed (as compared to another coloring book I purchased where the lines of the drawing were terribly faint). Some of the designs are VERY intricate and would need extremely sharp markers and pencils to fill without going outside the lines.

I love this book! The patterns are complex enough to keep it interesting but not so complex that I quit because it takes too long or I get bored. The paper quality is nice, and the book has a spare sheet to place between drawings in case it bleeds. I love the spiral notebook because it’s at the TOP of the book and doesn’t get in my way of coloring, a common problem for lefties like myself. So far this is the best adult coloring book I’ve ever owned.

I use gel pens to color in these mandalas books. I've purchased the same book multiple times, rotating the editions. I like the hard cover which makes it easy to hold and stiff enough to color while holding. It doesn't have to be laying on the table or desk to color the pages. The pages don't bleed thru and tear out easily. My grand kids like the books after I get done with them. They like coloring in whatever white spaces I've left.

Excellent quality, paper is thick with no bleeding to other pages with gel ink or markers! Pages tear out cleanly and easily for sharing or displaying. Designs range from easy to complex and everything in between. Love the artistry and balance of every image. Mandalas are a great size so that you can color every inch without difficulty, unlike other designs I've found that have such ridiculously small areas to color without difficulty and a very steady hand. Excellent product at a decent price, perfect for relaxing and unleashing your creativity.

I like than one can flip up to a design to work on. Thick enough paper so no bleeding of colors through to next design. Very fine mandala designs to take up many hours to complete.

Colorit books have hands down the best paper! I have a coloring book collection of about 200 and this is the nicest paper! i don’t know why other pricier books don’t use this paper! i don’t get it. Anyway, this is my first Colorit book. I like the mandala designs. i just wish they had more finely detailed or more intricate designs. But there are plenty to keep me happy and i love all the mandalas

This coloring book, and all the ones by this brand, are the best I've ever seen, and I have been coloring in adult coloring books for years. The mandalas are therapeutic and looks amazing when they're done. The paper is of high quality and even the heaviest, darkest markers won't bleed onto the next page. The spiral book makes it perfect for left and right handed people and you never have to worry about holding the page back while you color. This book is definitely worth the extra price, you'll never want to go back to regular coloring books again!

LOVE this book!!! The drawing on the pages were crisp and clear with really high quality paper. I love the hard back so it helps me to steady my coloring without the pages being floppy. They were just hard enough for a good time but not so difficult that I couldn’t get through it without getting tired. I kept coloring for days and my husband Jim was like “do you really think you can go all day.” And I said “Absolutely I do.” Love it.

I have NEVER been happier with a book of coloring pages as I am with ColorIt's Mandalas to Color Volume 2. The spiral form makes it so effortless to turn the pages as well as remove them. The pages themselves are of extremely high quality. They are incredibly thick with a smooth, almost glossy finish. And the drawings are beautiful and inspiring and thankfully each is unique. I began coloring my first Mandala this am using Crayola colored pencils. I cannot get over how smooth the pencils glided and how deep the colors appeared with minimal pressure. I am truly impressed and 1000% satisfied! Thank you !!!

My Husband is an avid coloring fan. He loves the medallion-type deisgns and has become somewhat of a connoisseur of good quality books. I gave him this for Christmas and he has sung the praises of the quality. Single-sided, good quality paper are all plusses for this book. Thank you!

Love, love, love. This is the best brand of coloring books. High quality heavy paper w no bleed through. A very heavy cardboard back that allow you to color while holding it so no table needed. A wonderful spiral top binding that doesn’t catch and that allow you to color one page at a time. Printed only on one side of paper, too. I have both Mandela books and I’m ready to order more. Soooo good, don’t even bother w the others!

Omg absolutely lovvvedd it, I got allot of anxiety and get frustrated at times so this really helps me calm down. And works so good with markers, pages are thick but not to thick, perfect... plus it comes with a extra paper in the front so you can put it under the page your working on so no ink blends to the back. Would definitely recommend
