Love these!!! I love that I can have them sitting on my counter and still use my sink without getting water all over. My kids love using them too. They are a little smaller than I like but they work great!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

These are very cute and well made. I lost the drainage net cause I forgot it’s there when I dumped out the garbage. But still, it’s a great product.

This is a great invention. I was actually looking for those sink strainers that you can use to catch peelings and debris while you cut vegetables, and I stumbled on this genius device. This is perfect for washing fruits and vegetables. I usually use a basic colander, but his works better. It rests on the counter while you either wash and place the items in it or directly wash the items while they rest in the bowl of this container. The fruits or vegetables never come in contact with the sink or countertop. They are safe inside this container while your hands are free to wash more vegetables or whatever. The entire device washed up fine in the top rack of the dishwasher, so I could be sure it was clean to use. I wish the grate was able to be fixed inside it. It just rests at the top of the trunk. I guess there are uses where it's helpful to be able to remove it, but maybe there could be some way to clip it in or secure it. There could also be interchangeable grates with holes of different sizes. The grates on the straining insert are too wide for doing an effective job straining food waste and too big to wash something like beans much less rice, so this is strictly for washing fruits and vegetables for me.

This germaphobe loves the elephants. Plumbing issues are not my concern because I do not wash food IN the sink nor do I stand any food-washing or draining containers IN the sink, so I’m ultra-thrilled with a drain basket that sits OUTSIDE the sink. Yes, I have one of those stainless steel baskets that you can suspend OVER the sink, but that means it’s in the way. I have to move it somewhere to let the food finish being wet otherwise there’s nothing underneath to catch the drips. But these little elephants just sit there on the side, happily dripping away. Some features are: - the plastic body is rigid so it will not collapse under the weight of the food or the water during rinsing - the bulk of the body sits on the counter top so it will not tip over easily - the drain is removable - it is very easy to clean - the plastic doesn’t stain The size is versatile for so many things (for example: washing baby teething rings or small toys; or washing small kitchen gadgets like measuring spoons). But it seems impractical for large quantities, especially of something heavy like potatoes. I photographed it next to a coffee mug to give an idea of the size. I hope that the elephants become very popular and encourage the company to offer the option of bigger elephants. The elephants are an inexpensive convenience that you will likely find a daily use for and I highly recommend them.

These aren't the best for big loads of things that need to be drained, especially a big pot of boiling water and pasta or potatoes or whatnot. Better for smaller loads or rinsing off produce as the there isn't a large area with drainage holes. there is a little insert that covers the 'trunk' to keep small berries and such from falling through. The bottom is slanted to help drainage so water doesn't set in the elephant's tummy. Being able to set on the countertop and hang over the edge makes this little guy pretty stable as long as anything poured into it is done slowly and evenly versus being dumped in the front section all at once. It's easy to clean - top rack of dishwasher or a quick wash by hand. They stack inside each other for storage which I appreciate. Perfect size for our camper plus we can store stuff inside of them while not in use.

These strainers are absolutely adorable, and even more importantly, they work great! :) I use them all the time to rinse veggies, being able to set it on the side of the sink with the trunk draining down in there means that I don't have to wait for all the water to get out before taking veggies out to dry them. It's perfect for pasta because then I don't have to hold an extra strainer. And they're super easy to clean, just take the strainer bit out and pop both pieces in the dishwasher. If you're waffling on whether or not to get these, do it! They are worth every penny. :)

I saw this and decided I had to give it a try! I absolutely LOVE it. No more dropping noodles in the sink when draining. It sits on the side of the sink securely, and it is very easy to pour the noodles into. No more having to move dirty dishes before you drain your pasta or wash your veggies! This is a must have for every kitchen!

These strainer baskets work great, I use them for washing fruits like grapes and cherries, but can be used for rinsing and straining anything that needs it.

We love these little elephant baskets. Smaller than our big pasta colanders and useful for smaller jobs such as rinsing a couple of servings of fresh berries or veggies, or draining a can or two of beans or corn, etc. They perch steadily on the side of the sink while draining leaving room in the sink to do other tasks. The small perforated piece can be removed for rinsing larger items. The material is polypropylene which is BPA-free, one of the safer plastics recommended for use with food, and doesn’t corrode, rust or dent like many metals. The finish is smooth and easy to wash, and the design is attractive. The blue color is pretty and our only wish is that other colors become available as well.

These strainers are so fun and very effective. I love the elephant shape with the trunk being the strainer spout. It comes with a removable strainer so if you have bigger items you could drain is much faster. I love that I can wash and strain outside of my sink especially if my sink is full. These stack together for easy storage and these are super easy to clean. I am super happy with these strainers. I would highly recommend this product!

These little elephants are just too cute! I really enjoy using them to rinse fruit. Tilting the produce toward the 'tail end' while filling with water and then allowing the produce to shift toward the 'trunk' to drain is very easy. The little strainer basked will stay in place if positioned properly. I like that I can let this sit on the side of the sink so the produce dries a little bit more before I use it. The only way to improve this would be to have a piece that could be inserted to hold water for a soaking period before draining.

I cannot say enough nice things about these. First of all they sit on the side of your sink so they don't take up your entire sink. They drain so nicely. They hold a ton of stuff. I can put a pound of spaghetti in there. I can rinse Foods in there. They're easy to clean. I actually have loved these so much that I've gotten rid of every other strainer in my house. I have not found something that I cannot use these with. Absolutely in love with this product.

I love elephants and these are so cute. They are larger than expected which is great. They have sifters for the interior - see pics. Very stable and solid with grippy feet and drain great - I am using one in bath sink also. 5 stars!

Perfect for washing berries. This is handy because I can rinse my berries and let sit to drain while using the sink for other tasks. Previously I needed to have a colander sit in the sink for a little while while they drain.

That's what my hubby said. But I told him this one is much easier to use. It has support by sitting on the counter at the same time! I love it. Unlike others where they sit in the (sometimes) dirty sink, this is away from all that. the only downside, if you pour too fast, the insert will become dislodged, and all your spaghetti noodles will be in the (sometimes) dirty sink.

What a fabulous idea . I always manage to make a mess using a strainer but not with this baby elephant. I love this thing .

I got this product on a whim and I’m pleasantly surprised! I used it to wash my berries on my sink and it was super easy! It’s a great size for lettuce and other fruits. I put is next to my sink hose and washed it that way, definitely recommend for easy washing

I could not wait for this purchase to arrive....already have used them multiple times in a few days! They are awesome! I love that these drain baskets allow my fruits and vegetables to drain while freeing up my sink space. They are great for draining canned goods as well. Overall, easy to clean, very functional and ultra cute!

This strainer sits on the counter but drains into the sink. No more setting the strainer in the sink or getting steam burns from holding a strainer by the handle? This strainer has an optional screen that fits over the drain.

I loves these! I wash A LOT of fruit and veggies and these are so useful. I like the structure and how they sit on the side of the sink and not IN the sink, like a normal colander. I’m very happy with this purchase.
