Decent quality leather at an unbeatable price. Not top-notch quality, but hey, they do the trick and for the price, I haven't seen anything on 'Zon. PLEASE NOTE: If you cut them to fit your length, you MUST tack or sew over the seam you cut through or it will unravel. Seems like common sense, but I saw several comments complaining about unraveling or the stitching coming apart. You should do this over at least four seams per leg.

I like this company (HWK). I have an HWK textile armoured jacket and matching armoured pants. They are both great values for the money. They fit properly, stand up to regular use and provide a reasonable amount of protection. The jacket looks sharp too - I get a lot of compliments. So I'm not surprised the chaps are an equally great buy. The pants are zippered but I just pull them on over my jeans. The photos show the chap belt sitting outside a regular belt but I pulled mine up over my pants and cinched it up four notches - meaning the sizing is very good. I'm 5'8" 160 lbs and the size 32 is perfect. The chaps are long but that works as I wear an inseam of 34 inches (actual size: 32) for riding motorbikes. Floodpants are not great for warmth or protection so the length is good. I really came away very satisfied with all three HWK purchases. You can't beat the price or quality. Ride safe!

Good chaps for the money. The pocket is to small for a wallet. More for looks I guess. Based on other reviews I bought a size bigger and they fit perfectly. I wear a 38x32 pants and I got the 40.

For cheap chaps , I was surprised by the weight and quality. But now I'm being followed by a cop , construction work , a cowboy and an Indian.

Took a shot on these chaps while I was joking with some friends that I needed some. I chose these because of the price. Wasn’t disappointed. While they aren’t as thick as a $300 pair, I was completely surprised at the weight and quality of the leather for what they are. Comfortable, easy to trim, and do exactly what they’re supposed to…..keep the cold off of you. One thing to mention is, be easy when using the belt, it isn’t the best at being attached. Big guys like me could rip it out if we aren’t careful. I’m planning to reinforce it. They look great, and feel great when you have to walk in them. If you don’t want to spend the big money, and you don’t ride in sun zero weather, these are the chaos for you! If you DO ride in super cold, there are a set of the same chaps with a zip out liner for $25 more. These were a GREAT deal for 52 bucks shipped to my front door.

I am 5'3" and 235lbs. I ordered a size 46. Plenty of slack in the waistband, comfortably buckled with no problem at all. Fit perfectly around my thighs, but from the knees down I looked like I was playing dress up with my dad's clothes. DON'T FREAK OUT. These are meant to be trimmed if necessary. Will end up being pretty wide around the ankle, but that's just more room around an awesome pair of boots. Shine up, rubber down, riders!! :-)

I was surprised how good these chaps are. They keep your legs warm but it has one downfall. If they are too long in length, you need to get a pair of scissors or a box cutter and cut the chaps to your length. Not a big deal but still good. If you’re 6’5 then you won’t have to do anything. Worth the money

Was originally sent wrong size. Started a return and reached out to ensure the correct size would be shipped. Seller got back to me immediately and the correct product arrived on the doorstep within 24 hours. I hadn't even made the original return yet. My wife loves her new chaps so be assured this is a great product for the price.

Great value for the money. A little stiff out the box but one can move around and the leather will break in over time. I see you can cut the length to fit but I like the cuffs to hang over my boots so for me they were well and good. I don't feel the need to click in the last stud with a 32 leg. Each to their own. I bought for a 34 waste and there is ample room in the belt for increased girth should it be necessary. You get a spare stud but they are cheap and easy to replace even if you run a different color. I bought these to ride in as opposed to a fashion statement. As long as the zips hold up, will last for years.

They are real leather I was worried cause some said that and then they weren't when they arrived. They are really long we will definitely have to trimmed to fit his height correct but they are really nice looking and a great price. They looked better than the ones at the HD shop. Will need to break them in but all in all super happy with the product.

Lived in them for 2 weeks on 2500 mile trip , mud rain and a million grass hopper storming at me full force all deflected , first I ever owned ,been riding 50 yrs and will never ride again without them
