I measured for the correct size to order, based on their chart, had my wife measure to recheck everything again, and so I ordered the 2xl based on the chart. Got the jacket and swam in it. Huge on me. Sent it back and ordered the XL, the size I normally wear, and the second jacket fits perfectly. Worth the hassle involved with returning and reordering, and man I’m glad I did! Love the jacket. Very well made and looks great. Comfortable and the pads are all aligned perfectly. I say don’t hesitate on this…worth every penny and more.

Hard to believe I could get this jacket at this price. I am a 50-ish "old motorcyclist" but had sport bikes in the 90s' My son now rides one and I got this to occassionally go with him in the begin, and to ride a little myself. Excellent fit and finish, decent armor (though not what I was used to back in the day) and nice zipper locations, tightening bands, etc. No flapping or movement at speed. Good ventilation. Feels like it would be great for one get-off if it happened, but at this price I would just replace the jacket. Nice reflectivity also.

This is a really nice motorcycle jacket for the price. The fit is true to size. It's got a liner for those cooler mornings but it does take a little work to take the liner in/our of the jacket. The one think that you do notice is the color. In the description it shows the 1st jacket as being silver, but when I took it out of the plastic package the jacket is actually tan/off white in color. It will look good with my black cherry Honda Goldwing. It's kind of a universal color for all different colors of motorcycles.

I’m new to ride an adventure bikes, but not motorcycles in general for the money you can’t beat this gear when I put it on I feel like it would be safe in a slide

These jackets are very well made and fit wonderfully. Very warm with the liner in, very cool with it out. Easily remove or keep the liner in depending on what time of year you are riding. Excellent material and stitching. Bright reflective color logo and accent stripes. Removable pads in the elbows, shoulders and back that are lightweight, but would give you protection in a slide. The only problem that I had with this jacket was the inside zippered pocket's zipper didn't close and was separated from each other. Rather than return it for such a simple fix, I decided to keep it and fix it myself. Easily done with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Look it up on youtube and you will see how to repair any zipper. Other than the zipper issue, the jacket is perfect in every way and definitely worth the price.

This jacket has it all. A zip in liner and zippered ports that allow air to circulate on hot days. The pockets even have zippers to keep your belongings secure. The padding is comfortable and is removable for cleaning etc. The company logo is reflective which aides in rider visibility when riding at night. I am 5'8'' and 200lbs. I ordered a XL and it fits great. I probably could have gotten by with a Large, but the XL fits but the sleeves are just a little long. Not enough to bother me though. Overall this is a great looking well made motorcycle jacket and I wouldn't hesitate to order another should the need arise.

I am pleasantly surprised with the quality and the look of these jackets. They are much nicer than I expected them to be.

Fits perfectly and feels like I'm protected from road rash. I'll need the protection because my EUC is something that is vulnerable to accidents more than motorcycles.

I asked for this 'Roadster' model, hoping that without the rear pocket (which I find inconvenient) on the other HWK jacket, that it would be a bit lighter in weight; however, my XL was the SAME 4.2 pounds for either jacket - not 3.8 pounds as listed on Amazon. That said, these seem beautifully carefully designed and made - NO complaints, especially for the price. I'm delighted with them ... and `have bought other HWK offerings, as well.

Yeah, I left a five star review but that doesn't mean I didn't have issues. Out of the box, the pads were all folded over, making it almost unbearable to wear. After removing the pads and letting them sit flat under some weight, they have returned to the correct shape. However, the pockets they slide into cause them to curl a little (I believe intentionally). This was nothing to be upset over. Next, the size and straps. I am a small, 5'5" human, I can fit into children's large shirts, so I expect things to be big on me. The sleeves are at least 4" longer than my arms, though. Fingers outstretched, not visible out the sleeves. I'm having those tailored which will eliminate the straps on the ends. Next, I went to strap the sleeves, and while pulling the velcro into position, the whole strap came off the coat. My seamstress is reattaching those for me as well. Lastly, the bottom, I can pull the straps far enough to cinch the waist, but the velcro barely touches and I'm sure it would come undone with movement. I intend to wear this jacket during the summer, so most of this isn't an issue; I'll fix what I can and accept what I can't because this was under $50. My reasoning for giving this a full five stars is that Hawk has been great at responding to my e-mails and making this situation right. Set your expectations at an inexpensive coat that you may have to have tailored. Altogether, I'll still be spending less than $100 on this, and if you're wanting more, I honestly suggest shopping in store so you can try them on, but expect to pay at least twice as much.

I got this jacket in the beginning of the riding season. Used it for about 2 months and It was excellent. The venting was great and fit very well. Water resistant to a point. Light rains with no problem. Heavy downpours I got a little wet. In the beginning of June I was involved in the head on collision With this jacket on and it saved me from a lot of bruising and road rash. I did contact their customer service and Let them know about the accident, They did not hesitate to send me a brand new jacket free of charge.

This jacket is everything I hoped for. The fit is as expected. Using it in summer isn't so bad can't wait to see its potential in winter.

I had not heard of HWK before, but was shopping for new riding gear. I kept seeing their products come up, but the prices were so low that I wrongly assumed that they were either not accurate or the jackets were cheaply made. You know the saying about something being too good to be true. But I was proven wrong. When my jacket arrived it was expertly packaged and felt very substantial. Their sizing chart was dead on, the quality of the material and stitching was spectacular, and it was exactly as advertised. My old riding jacket was a Cortech. I held them up and compared them and the HWK matched it feature for feature, but at one third the price. I am super impressed and very satisfied with the HWK jacket. So impressed that I plan on buying a lighter weight jacket for summer. Even buying two still leaves me paying less than I would for most jackets. Well done HWK. A+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I normally wear a large jacket but bought a medium because if you take the lighter out of this jacket you have more room to play with.... I bought this for riding in the summer. In the Southeastern United States, it is white. It breathes well has plenty of vents... Sizing is correct but if you plan on running it with out it's liner buy a size smaller. I get lots of compliments on it for the quality when they hear the price...lol

Reflective, cool and water resistant. Adaptable for spring, fall and winter. Still a little hot for summer but that's ok.

Heavy duty well made...good visibility stripes on it, warm in the cooler weather

The protection built into it is great. Definitely can protect you A LOT, if you’re rider awareness allows you to throw your weight to the sections of the jacket that are padded, during a slide/fall. Front tire slid out from beneath me at 10mph due to rubble in my driveway, threw myself over the bike onto my upper right arm and rolled through it (kinda felt badass). The jacket prevented any scratches, is not torn, and was able to be washed off with a wet cloth. My unprotected knees were the only thing to get scraped and bruised. Good jacket, great quality; don’t machine wash it.

Super warm. It's getting warm so I'm gonna remove the liner and try it. I only weigh 128 so I got a medium. It's a little bulky I removed the back pad. I should've gotten a small it's not too big but a small would've fit me better. Since it's getting warm I'm not gonna worry about it but when I do order another it'll be small. Probably another hwk tho. Great jack.

I'm 5'9", 204 lbs with a 32 inch waste - yes, you read it right. This is my first armored jacket. In fact it's my first proper motorcycle jacket - so I don't know much about them. There are two things I do know about: fashion and quality. Regarding the fashion, the pictures speak for themselves. The jacket looks good and feels good. It screams quality from the way it looks and the way it is put together. I've read many reviews from HWK's older Amazon offerings. HWK clearly takes customer feedback seriously because most issues have been rectified. Including the zipper being on the wrong side. That would have bugged the sh*t out of me. Is this a four season jacket? Maybe in some cities. In Houston, we only have two seasons. For five to six months, it's in the 90s with 90% humidity. We call it the Double-Nines. Actually, nobody calls it that, but I might get it started. It's in the 50s now and the jacket is warm - it feels real good. Even with the lining removed, this jacket won't be able to compete with the Houston heat. If I wore this jacket in the summer, I'd look like Whitney Houston in concert. So, hopefully HWK updates their summer mesh jacket before the weather turns because I am now a fan. Shorts and sunglasses sold separately.

Best bike jacket good quality

I've got a lot of HWK gear. Pants in two colors, Touring Jacket in two colors, this shorter jacket. I find HWK to be incredible value and prefer the comfort of this inexpensive HWK jacket to my far more pricy premium brand one. Wind proof, water proof, very warm with some light layers underneath. Decent big zippers and adjustments. Can't speak to 70mph highway speed (true motorcycle) function against weather or crashes, but at 35-45 mph that I do on PEV's (e-scooter, e-bike, EUC) this gear is ideal. Definitely holds heat and blocks chill winter wind at these speeds, and I'm guessing the built in pads are decent and far better than wearing no protective gear at all. A risk that some riders do take. Would recommend for riders of regular bikes in winter as well. I honestly at first was not expecting much for this price point but have been shocked at the quality you get for the $ and quite happy with HWK gear. I keep going back for more.

Just received the HWK jacket, first impression. WOW. I was a little apprehensive on buying this jacket on-line. Seems I worried for naught. Tried the jacket on over a flannel shirt and thermal henley, a perfect fit. Then I put a fleece pullover on and tried it on again, with the liner still in, a little more snug, but still comfortable and not restrictive. I'm 6' 2", 240 lbs and measured a 48" chest over shirt. Ordered the 3x. It's only 14 degrees out today, so no riding, but I am sure this will be a great jacket for riding. Quality built, all seams are finished, no loose or dangling threads, zippers all work smoothly. Can't ask for more at any price. Recommend this jacket to anyone. As far as I am concerned, HWK has top notch product.

This jacket is fantastic! Price wise, you can’t beat it. People complaine it’s not waterproof. They never said it was waterproof. It’s water resistant! If you wanna spend $700 or better on gortex, then you do you. Combine this with a pair of waterproof rain gear, you’re set. Well worth the money!!

So let me preface with I typically ride almost exclusively in Dianese gear, AGV helmets, etc... Always been a gear snob, both for protection and quality. After a long history on ADV bikes, Sport Touring type models, went for a change and snagged a '21 MT09.. Being a naked bike, I needed to adjust from the touring gear to a more sport fit.. Saw the brand, the good reviews and the company mantra and decided to give it a try.. 2 jackets ordered, relatively limited ride time, but WOW, what a pleasure wearing these jackets so far!!! Comfortable, form fitting, protection feels comfortable and well placed. No, it's not a Dainese jacket, but it's also not $400 like many of their textiles. I cannot say enough in my limited riding experience with this brand, other than, for the money, it is a superior product to jackets 4 times the price! A must get!

Just slightly cheesier than I was willing to let go. Luckily this cheapskate was able to find some better old used gear on eBay.

I think I struck gold when I got the HWK jacket! I used it for the first time heading to work… I really love the Fact that I am very visible and how it kept me pretty cozy… it wasn’t hot, It’s not bulky. It’s the perfect bang for your buck!

It worked perfectly, I was riding between 40F and 70F, with sun and rain. I was never cold, and it was easy to adjust when temperature was higher. Comfortable

Everything is great about this jacket. Even at 107mph no wind. Wind was blowing 15+ @ 45 degrees. Wind chill in 30's. Everything cold but what jacket was covering. Pockets great, but phone pocket Max's out on my Motorola Z3 with slim case, does work but maxed, no worries. Armor not even noticeable, but elbow does slide down a bit. Only aware because I checked with hand but it covered forearm too, soooo? Ordered 4x because I'm 50.5" chest but it seems a bit large. Wore T shirt with fashionable waffle long sleeve shirt. Waist and wrist synch up seems a touch big. I always have trouble with all clothing. The price of working out and being short. Wish I could try the 3x? I think that may fit better but it's hard buying online. If you want to send a 3x however I'll keep the better fitting one. Just saying. Absolutely love this jacket. Perfect for SW winters. Comfortable and the price is truly fantastic. Can't say a bad thing, and I look to show weakness but??? It's really a deal. If you're in the market you can't go wrong, honestly! The sizing is greatest difficulty as always. You'll love this jacket.
