I bought a size bigger than I normally wear and I can slup these over my jeans. Very good pants and iam suprised they don't cost more. They do block any air from coming in but the pants do have a air vent you can open for when it's hot out. They don't wiegh that much so they are not consistently trying to fall down and they have a built in belt to tighten the pants. Seems fairly durable but if you when down I can see them shredding fairly quick. Good for mountain biking in the winter also

These actually exceeded my expectations. They're comfortable to ride in and fairly breathable with the zipper vents open but will also definitely keep you warm on the cold days. The material is durable, the armor is placed well and seems sufficient for impact absorption. I ordered a Medium (30" inseam)it is almost perfect for me, just a bit tight on the glutes when on the bike. I am about 5'7" 180lb and I normally wear a 32×30 mens pants. Overall a great buy for price and quality.

Sweet gear, it’s definitely nice material and fits perfect! It separates for summer use, the liner on the inside! It’s most definitely going to keep you warm when it’s cold outside. Super thick like a snow suit. I like it. I am big so I feel like it’s gonna make me look way bigger. The guy in the advertisement video had to of only been 150 or so. So then men that are a 100 lbs heavier like Me just beware of that. Still very cool. I got the jacket to and the do attach to eachother.

I have had these pants for a year now. I like the durable construction and the price. The pockets on the legs are nice. They are comfortable. I am 5’-11” and weigh about 175 pounds, and I bought size Large. I wish the pants were a bit longer. They ride up a little bit when on the bike. They are hot, so I would consider mesh pants for summer riding. They aren’t bad when I am riding, but in the summer, I get hot quickly when I stop. I think they will be perfect for fall rides into the mountains. I like them well enough that I just ordered a HWK jacket. I might also buy a pair for my wife.

Pants/trousers are a great investment if you take a unexpected glide across the asphalt without acquiring roadrash. Depending how fast you travel, you might be saying weeee, or you might be in a hospital getting checked up. Either way, these are great for the road and i feel confident if i fall, ill be fine so long as i dont come across a tree or wall. The trousers come with armor pads for the knees, upper thighs, shins, and butt cheeks. You have several pockets all the way down both legs for storage. Water RESISTANT, not water proof. I think the manual said that you can take out the armor pads for washing, but i always dry clean mine so i never tried to remove them. Would not recommend putting in the dryer due to the waist area being stretchy and you may shrink the heck out of it. Also! Trousers are slightly simular to military trousers, being they have 2 buttons at the front top. The waist adjustment strap is near the sides of the waist, They are velcro. Great product for the price! Almost the same price as in stores, just a bit cheaper. I would recommend adding reflection material on the knee areas and near the pockets so other drivers can have more visual effects than just the jacket piece/part of gear. Overall, really great purchase!

A very nice motorcycle pants for the price. Has hip side light armor insert and a large knee pad insert you can remove. The pants are waterproof to a great extent. They are warm due to limited ventilation, keeps warmth in. The vents on the thigh don't ventilate a great deal. I don't feel the rush of wind with them open. I keep them open most of the time. They come with an additional thermal insert legging that attaches inside and you can remove them. I would only recommend them when it is 40ºF to 50ºF as the pants retain heat without the thermal legging inserts. No belt loops, so you can't use one. You tighten the waist band using the built in velcro loops on each side of the waist. Has zipper on the ankle so you can boot up with ease of pull your socks up. The butt area has a rubbery, vinyl texture that grips the seat and prevents your butt from sliding around, really nice didn't know I needed it, but it helps when leaning. Overall great purchase, very pleased may buy one again. Hopefully they decide to offer different colors. Not a fan of the black with white stitching but in reality doesn't look too bad. Lastly you'll feel much more armored and safe, which may boost your confidence.

I'll start off by saying these are my second pair because the first pair had a manufacturing defect. However, the seller was super great to work with and no hesitation on replacing them for me 👍. These are nice because you can easily take out and put in the insulation layer on the inside. These are comfy and fairly adjustable. I would recommend getting slightly bigger waist than you normally wear. Quality is pretty good, and they will probably last a while. As far as cold weather riding, I wore them recently over my jeans in 53°f in Florida and they blocked the wind and kept my legs comfy. They close nice and tight around my boots.

I bought my bike in November so all I've done is cold weather. I have never owned a pair of pants that trap heat like these. My nuts will sweat while my chest and arms are freezing. Only thing is I wear 32-32. I bought 34-32 and the waist is still pretty snug so keep that in mind.

Had these for over a year before my wreck. These saved my knee. If I decide to ride again, I'll be getting another pair. I would not be walking right now if I wasn't wearing them.

So far I'm HWK's biggest fan. I love the fit, the warmth on COLD days and having real protection built in with absolute comfort. I'm definitely a HWK riding gear endorser!

Just rode 800 km all over Honduras with these pants. They fit excellent and I was never hot nor cold depending on the elevation. They also didn’t let any rain get in. Good purchase.

I love these pants. I gave my original pair to a friend and ordered an additional pair. I accidentally ordered the wrong size. The pants are unused. If a member from the company is reading this, is it possible to exchange for the correct size? Just checking. Ty

As soon as these pants were in my hands, the first thing I noticed was the quality of materials! Easily on par with AGV, Built, Joe Rocket, or any of the other gear I have! Thick, rugged material and solid stitching throughout! (Grandma is a tailor/seamstress, I know quality material and stitching.) The cargo pockets are in the perfect place for both a sport bike and a cruiser. Mid-thigh and right in between on the front and side of the leg. They secure well and should prevent stuff from escaping, but it's doubtful they'll be waterproof. The front pockets on the other hand, should do the trick. Like the gusseted zippers on the lower legs and the fully gusseted crotch zipper, the zippers are solid and waterproofed. The leg vent zippers also have an additional rubber wind and waterproofing, I felt zero air penetrating the pants in the 40°F ride in at highway speeds. There's dual layers of thick, strong cordura in all the places you'd want them both riding...or sliding... The CE armor in the knees flex to fit both securely and comfortably (far more comfortable than my racing leathers, but slightly less thick). The CE hip armor is slightly stuff, but flexes into shape as soon as I say on the bike. It's slightly lower than my personal preference, but it'll be plenty protective in the event of an impact. Here's where half a star might possibly be lost, but it's only my personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality or function of these pants: Honestly, these are phenomenal pants!!! Don't get it twisted! I've had lots of gear over the years, and these are an absolute steal at the price! Could easily cost 2x-3x as much and be more than worth it!!! Two points of contention... 1) I'm kinda skinny at less than 5'8" and 150-155lbs. The below Velcro adjustable straps don't quite go small enough... On the thigh it honestly doesn't matter because the anatomical fit of the pants is so correct they don't move or flap. where I have a problem, is at the bottom of the pants. Velcro strap doesn't close tight enough am I skinny little ankles keep the wind out. The only place I felt any wind enter the suit was at the leg opening. They are pants, so a very small amount of air leakage is to be expected but this was full-on wind. I can easily fix it by adding Velcro from one of the rolls that I use at work so that the strap goes all the way around my ankle and I can meet it as tight or loose as I want. The price point for these pants, I don't even care! Easy fix, and a situation I've encountered with every single piece of gear I've ever had. 2) I CAN'T TAKE EM OFF WITH MY FREAKING BOOTS ON?!?! This honestly kind of bummed me out. These pants fit so well and are so comfortable, are so well made, and so well armored, this was the only drawback in my personal preference. The mesh lining got caught on the treads of my combat boots that I wear riding, and bunched up on the armor, and I could not get them off. Despite being able to unzip the gusseted leg and on velcro the strap at the ankle, they just would not go around the heel of my boot. Nothing new as far as overpants go, but it still would have been nice. In conclusion/TLDR: BUY THESE PANTS!!! You'll not regret it

I have to say that the value of these is off the chart. They are well made and have knee and hip armor and seem to have enough protection for the dual sport riding I do. I waited to write this review as mine developed a small rip by the knee where it looks like the material just pulled free. I emailed HWK support and they were quick to respond and sent me a replacement pair no issues. I ordered the 3XL in short (30 inch inseam). I wear a 40 waist and 32 inseam in jeans and these fit perfectly. There is a lot of adjustment available in the waist. I originally ordered a 32 inseam but with these being over the boot pants they were long - I returned them for the shorter inseam. The placement of the knee guard is just right for me - not too high or too low. I would consider these a three season pants as they are not vented and do get hot in the Georgia summer. I wore these on the Smokey Mountain 500 and they held up well. They are somewhat water resistant as I did get caught in a downpour and they kept me dry. I also like the velcro leg design for over the boot. The one minor ding is the velcro closure on the pockets is super strong so while you will never lose anything you have to use two hands to open the pocket. After comparing these to brand name pants it makes me realize what a rip-off the top brand pants really are - yes they have a little more protection and thicker material but not enough to really matter for my style of riding.

These fit perfectly. Sizing was right and there is so much adjustment that if you go up or down a couple of sizes they will still work. Just amazed on the quality. In all fairness, I havent used them much yet. The stitching, zippers, and materials is better than I expected. The price is unbelievable.

Im 5’3 125 lbs and I ordered a small. To be honest, I think I could’ve gotten away with an extra small. I can definitely tighten them all the way and they still feel kind of loose but also they feel a little big on my legs too lol. They’re not too bad though! Just a bit baggy but I can make use of the small. They are really comfy nonetheless and I replaced the armor in them with some other ones so that’s nice. But don’t be like me and you’re around the same body height & weight!! Get the XS - it’ll fit.
