For me when I do weighted dips I’ll work up to 2 plates and a 35lb plate. This belt was the cheapest option and yet it holds all the weight I need. It’s comfortable and easy to use. I’d say it’s worth the purchase if you want to strength train bw movements

If you need some more weight for your pull ups or parallel bars exercises this one is for you. I have reached my limit in those exercises and needed something to bring some weight so I chose this product because it was cheap and got great reviews, I just want to clarify some things I have read during research: Sharpness- No, THIS PRODUCT HAVEN'T CUT ME AT ALL AND HAS NO SHARP EDGES, you just need to know how to connect it to your hip and stand up without it touching, I am no expert but I am sure you will find the way. Hip size compatibility- YES, NARROW HIPS CAN BE A CHALLENGE, however, once you put enough weight and start with the exercise, gravity will lock the belt to your hip without any problem. Durability and Usefulness- OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT BELT: even though it is cheap and could be more comfortable I have managed to use it for 70 lbs without any problem at all. I love this belt, don't listen to the bad reviews. i REALLY LIKE THE CASE came with it, it is super useful! I put my gloves in it and head straight to the gym

I'd read the chain was going to leave me cut to shreds but did not find this to be the case. Bought this to start doing weighted chins and dips and thus far have only gone up to 25lbs with it but it feels completely fine and comfortable. The chain does look pretty cheap and I doubt it would hold up to any belt squats beyond super light stuff and honestly I know I'll be replacing it sooner rather than later but for the price it was a great entry point to be able to add these exercises to my routine and hawk continues to make great stuff for great prices.

I was a little skeptical about buying this because some had said that the chain was flimsy and I was also worried it would fall off my hips in use. Well I've been using it for a week at the gym now with no issue. The chain is just fine. I've been doing pull-ups with one 45 plate so far and no issue. As soon as the the weight goes on the chain it tightens the belt on the hip so it won't fall. I handle it with care because I know how inexpensive it is but it's a solid dip belt. No complaints

Love it. Use it for weighted dips and pull ups. It can support tons of weight. I even attached it to a pulley and used it to hoist a 150lb chunk of lumber into a tree for my son's tree house! I did not experience any of the sharp chain issues mentioned in other reviews. I'm guessing they addressed that problem. Only issue was a strong chemical odor for the first day or two after taking it out of its packaging.

Started to grow out of body weight dips/pull-ups and shopped around for some belts. Came across this one and found that it’s a little more affordable than others so I gave it a chance, and boy is it a good belt. Does exactly what I need it to do, quality and durability is there. I’ve had up to 60lbs on it and it’s held up just fine. Read some reviews about sharp edges on some of the chain links and sure, there are a couple sharp-ish edges, but just be aware and careful when handling and you’ll be fine. Great product for a great price. Will update my review if anything changes.

I love doing dips and pull ups this helped me increase my weight resistance past my normal body weight and multiply my gains!! I use this every time I work out now!!

Belt is comfortable. Im a 36 waist...enough chain to hookup 2 35s. No complaints. The belt portion still folds up and doesnt take up much bag space. Good buy

Update: Recieved replacement on defected belt I recieved prior to this one. If you see a problem with your belt, reach out to the seller and they are more than willing to send a replacement, as they want their customers to be satisfied with their product. The seller was kind and thoughtful enough to reach out to me first and made everything straight forward and simple. Everything was well packaged, seems to be well built and intact. Well cushioned belt for comfort and chain seems to be strong and sturdy, although I haven't tested it out just yet. If any problem occurs, I will update. If you don't see an update, that should mean belt is keeping up with weight being added. Cheers.

My Son loves this belt. Great addition to his dip workout. Great quality and price. Saw some reviews about the chain being a little short. He is 5’11” and has no issue with the length of the belt.

**Update: Fast forward to 2024. I still got it and still use it at least 2 or 3 times a week. Amazing belt.** It’s a great belt. I’ve been having it for a month, and God I see so many changes in my body. I’ve been mainly using it for pull ups, push ups (I set the bench in front of the rack with the bar to leave space so the weights hang) and dips. I’m getting some abs and my last are growing. My chest is gaining more form. I just love this belt. I’ve loaded it up with up to 85lbs no problems.

So far I only use the weight up to 70lb on the chain and it is pretty solid. Never had any worries about breaking it.

Durable product, fits well. I use this in every one of my gym sessions, easily portable. Great long term investment as an avid gym goer.

I love this belt. I’ve been wanting one for a long time and I always wanted one that wouldn’t feel too fragile. I waited a while before reviewing and it’s held up for the past 3 months. I’m usually putting +45 lbs plates on it and doing pull ups or dips with it and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap. It also comes in its own plastic bag with a zipper perfect for tossing it in the gym bag. Durability and comfort for a great price is a win win in my book

This belt holds comfortably 200 pounds. With this heavy amount of weight the belt is very comfortable around the waist. I know Hawk claims it can withstand 300 pounds, but I personally do not know anyone who can do 300 pound weighted dips. If you can please post a video or a picture. But for someone not going over 200 pounds this belt is perfect and comfortable and you cannot beat the price!

Got it today and it has the fit I was hoping. It’s not shown in the images, but I am able to wrap it around my waist(30) with the chain through the loop like a belt, then the hook drops to add the weight and then hook on the other end. I was worried the chain would not hook this way as it’s how I am able to keep the weights in place. I will test with the weights and follow up with that review.

I have had this belt for almost 1 month and have not had a problem. I read the previous reviews and basically as soon as you get the belt just check the chain for sharp points. I had 2 small points, which I removed and never had a problem. As far as how much weight it holds as of now i put 3 25lb plates (75lb total) with no problems. The fit and comfort to me is not a problem.

Has held up so far. I'm using a metal 35 lb weight to do pull ups , chin ups , and dips. Have had no issues to date.

Si eres calistenico esto te va a venir demasiado bien, el cinturón cumple muy bien con su trabajo y es cómodo al utilizarlo, de muy buena calidad en general. Lo recomiendo bastante!!

For the price its 5/5 stars for me. Exactly what I need and have not seen any problems in the 6 weeks ive had and used it. I dip between 35 and 60 pounds it holds it perfectly. 5/5 would reccomend. Also my belts chain was smooth and didnt cut me, this was my only worry and was quickly put to rest once I received it.
