Ordered the blue one for my 7 year old that just started Jiu Jitsu. The K2 is a little big. Pants sweep the floor but are fine when the waist is rolled up. Waist band is okay for his size, but would be too loose for active use without tying the strings. The kimono is great, sleeves are a little long so I rolled those as well. I think K1 would have been a better choice for his size but we're going to make this work. The material is very thick and seems to be high quality. The stitching isn't perfect, but it still looks good if you don't study it too closely. Well made and will last longer than he'll fit in it if we keep up with the sport. Highly recommend for the price! I'm laundering now so I'll modify the review if there is noteworthy shrinking or discoloration after the wash. I didn't see any laundry instructions so I'm just washing on cold and hanging to dry...

This GI is great quality, the stitching is very vibrant and the material feels great. I’ve washed it and there didn’t seem to be any color fade or shrinkage when following the wash instructions. This is a great GI and even better considering the price! I got my daughter a $70 HI on a different website only because I couldn’t find the color she wanted on Amazon and this one from feels to be about the same high quality as the high priced GI from a BJJ specialty apparel website. I’m very happy with this purchase and will buy again. Now if there were more colors to choose from that would be even better!!

My daughters started kids class together, even though my 2 year old is really just there for the vibes at this point. She's a petite 2T-3T and the smallest size fits her great! I roll the cuffs up one time so they don't drag on the mat, but otherwise a great fit for a smaller toddler.

Got a pink K1 Gi for my daughter who is just starting BJJ and I didn't want to spend big bucks on a Gi while before knowing this is something she will stick with. First impression of Gi right out of the package is great. The sizing guide says that a child 51" = K1; my daughter is ~52" and the K1 Gi is about the right size (ever so slightly large). I expect it to be a perfect fit after washing. Color is vibrant and the embroidery of the logo seems to be of good quality. The material of the Gi, while thin and lightweight, appears and feels durable. As an FYI the pants are elastic waist with a drawstring rather than the more traditional Gi pant drawstrings (I don't care one way or another - just mentioning it.) Time will tell how well the Gi stands up to grappling. If my daughter gets 6 to 8 months of good wear and tear out of this Gi while she figures out if BJJ is the sport for her, I will feel that it was money well spent.

Love it. The contrast of orange and blue is great. My girl of 9 and my 6 year old boy like them a lot. As a parent I was more concerned about the quality, considering the affordable price. From looking at it with 30 years of martial arts background they look like they will hold up at least until they grow out of them, probably much more. Maybe my daughter's gi can taken over by my son in 3 years. I washed them in vinegar at first to better preserve the color. Judging by how no color ended up in the wash water that wasnt even necessary. They are true to size. My daughters jacket fit her while the pant was a 2 inches too long. Nothing unusual for martial arts clothes. Folding it over on the hip would have helped. One dryer cycle on high took also care of that. Now they cant wait until the No Gi season is over and they get to rock their cool uniforms. I'm a bit excited too in case you couldn't tell already. :-p I will update if anything unusual happens. If not you can assume our Gis are performing as intended.

We are a grappling family and very picky about our gis. We had an unexpected tournament come up and needed a gi. We ordered this guy for my son. Not only is it true to size but my son says it’s the best feeling fabric ever. Would consider buying this gi again for a kid without a doubt

Sturdy gi. My 5 year old and 7 year old both have one and it works well and holds up in the wash. Fit follows the size chart

This brand of Gi was well made. It is strong and durable. Also it’s very lightweight and breathable. The size was spot on for my growing 9 year old son. Would purchase again from this company since sizes of there Gi’s run true.

Nice and heavy collar for pulling and take downs. Super light weight but durable material. I got the dark green for my 10yr old and he got lots of compliments. It is the same make and model of the ghee he gets at his training. LOVE IT.

Bought these for my grandkids and they look like the best dressed at the gym. Fit was perfect made well. The belted seemed to small but my grandkids wanted their original belts with wit stripes so that was not an issue

I ordered the black & green Gi (SIZE K1) for my son who is 3’11”. His height is right at the beginning of the size chart for the k1 & this Gi was WAY too big, not even close! His arms didn’t even come out of the sleeves and plants were huge on him too. I would say if your on the smaller side of the of the scale for a size it may not be best to get that one but better to get the size down from that. The material was good and I plan to order the size smaller! For reference my son is 7 years old, around 50 lbs, and height is 47in (3 foot 11). Issue wasn’t weight related but a length issue.

Purchased for my four year old and it was exactly what she needed for her “little monsters” jiu jitsu class! Comfortable and cute!

These are good quality kids Gis for a great price. The fabric is thick on the coat and a bit lighter/more flexible for the pants. My older child has the blue gi. Both look good and I’ve never heard any complaints. They love them and I’m happy. The two gis were purchased a year apart, the first one has held up and still looks new. I also, do wash them after 2-3 classes and I’ve never had any shrinkage or damage from the washer or dryer.

The gi is made very very well. I was actually surprised how even and perfect the stitching was on it. Impressive quality. The fabric is thick and sturdy and the collar is stiff. My kid is 6y.o. and is 48in and 48lbs and I got him a K0 - it was too big. I should have gone with one size smaller, but instructor said to keep it and just fold it under 4 inches and use some heat bont tape to keep it from coming undone. Considering how quickly kids grow, my son with grow into it in the next 6 months or so, so it's not a big deal.

My son is 7 years old & weights about 75lbs. He usually wears a size 9 or 10 Or large in youth sizes. This fits him great.

Man, I was a bit weary that it might not fit as many others suggested but ours turned out perfect. My son is 3 ft 4 inches and weighs 38 lbs. We were in between two sizes and I went with the larger K00 and it has a perfect amount of room to grow into. One hot wash and it will shrink to his size. But we will keep cold washing it to keep the room. Also, man I can't believe how soft it is for being a pearl weave gi. It does not feel stiff like the elite gi. That's a good gi, but it definitely needs to be broken in. I'm 150% satisfied with it and I do recommend it. Just buy a measuring tape or something and compare the chart to your child, that's what I did and it was spot on.

I bought an adult Hawk gi for myself for BJJ a while back and was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price of the product. My 7yr old daughter decided she wanted to start BJJ as well. She's pretty tall for her age at 53". Went with a K2 size and it fits really well. The sleeves were a tad long but we rolled them up and she's all good. Build quality is on par with the adult Hawk gi (which is on par with a gi that costs twice as much). NOTE: We got the Girls white which has a pink Hawk logo on the left breast of the jacket. I couldn't tell this on the pictures but it also has pink stitching on the jacket and pants. This is good for us as the girl loves pink.

Can’t say enough good things about this purchase. When my 4 year old started jiu jitsu, I’ll admit I was a little surprised the price of the gis. I looked everywhere online, and remember she just started she a four. I didn’t know if she would stick with it. I bought a gi in the smallest size and it was WAY too big. I returned it and bought HAWK. Not only was it affordable, but it was a quality gi, comes in great colors and she really like a it. The customer service is the top maybe 2 or 3 I ever dealt with. Bottom line and this should be a lesson to any and all business people. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PARAMOUNT!!!! These people know that and stick by their word. That is why they get 5 stars from this dad

I received my sons gi today. I’m going to be honest, I was expecting decent quality but to my surprise it was amazing. I ordered a gi from a different company before ordering this one and it was terrible so my expectations were very low but I am very happy with the quality. The colors are bright (blue and orange gi), it’s a great material, and the service is great too. I would highly suggest this gi to anyone looking for one. I have ordered 3 times for different sizes. I just wanted to help others if their kiddo is the same size. My son is 5 years old, 45in tall, and 50lbs. The K000 is too small. The K0 is too big. The K00 is on its way and I’m sure it will be perfect but I will update. Pic for reference.

We order this 2 times, the white gets dirty fast the pants but the black was perfect. Love all the colors which they had purple or orange will buy more. Perfect bday gift already did that.

I bought two of these for my boy that is finally going to BJJ two days a week consistently. The gis are a little big but he'll grow into them. The material is soft and comfortable. His other gis that we bought for him before these were a lot stiffer and less comfortable. He loves the colors.
