Got these straps for my jeep gladiator and they have worked well and are quality for what you pay I'd definitely recommend them

Considering I can’t find where this product is made anywhere on their website, I SUSPECT it’s some rebranded product from China, which would be a bit sneaky of them considering their brand name. That said, where it’s made doesn’t mean it’s automatically a bad product, since ultimately, a manufacture’s product will only be as good as the budget/price target allows it to be, and this strap screams QUALITY. Couple things to point out, while these straps are primarily labeled as a “tow strap”, it does have a 7% elongation. This allows it to be used as a recovery strap as well (if you don’t know the difference between a tow strap and a recovery strap, stop here and research). It may not be as effective as a pure recovery strap, but it’s still better than nothing/great solution if you want to save some space/weight. It comes with small LABELED bags, which is great for storing and organizing them. I pack them all into a backpack for ease of transport and further organization in my vehicle. I will be bringing these along with tree savers and soft shackles with me as part of a recovery kit on overland trips. It might be worth it to bring a slim down kit during winter/snowy condition too… just in case.

Really heavy duty beyond the needs of the average rver but it you need a truck size tow strap this is one for you

My other tow strap broke from hauling tree stumps to the burn pile. I ordered this one to finish the job. I could visually tell that this was no match against what I had left. The strength is unsurpassed compared to other straps that I used. You will never be sorry that you bought this. Something that I don’t understand is even though it is written in bold lettering on the strap; “GEAR AMERICA” this product is clearly made in CHINA! 🤔

I haven't had occasion to put this product to the test yet for anything other than dragging a fallen tree top off a back road near my house (light-duty job), but in handling and looking at the product you can see and feel that it is well-made and heavy duty. I have no worries about this strap (I got the 4" x 30') letting me down when it's needed. I added a pair of 46,000 pound Rhino USA soft shackles, a pair of 42,000 pound Rhino USA steel d-ring shackles, and a 51,000 pound Factor 55 receiver hitchlink. (Those numbers are all the manufacturer's break-strength ratings). All were purchased here on Amazon. I didn't know or notice at the time that Gear America has most of these other items available as well, or I may have gotten a matched set of all one brand, but the items I got are all high quality and very heavy-duty. All of that stuff I listed fits in the storage bag that came with the Gear America strap, along with the strap of course, with room to spare. It stows out of the way in the factory storage bin built into the back corner of my Jeep Cherokee. I also have a 7/8" x 30', 28,000 pound Inclake kinetic tow rope, but that is the same size as all the other stuff put together. That rides in the other corner storage bin. If I or anyone else gets stuck while I'm around I've got the stuff to get em' out, baby! We have long winters in these parts and it's good to be prepared. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

This tow strap is the real deal and it is easy on tree trunks. After a hurricane I had plenty of use for it pulling fruit trees back up. Works great

This tree saver strap, works as good as it looks. I was using it to move a shed, and the three trees I used it on are no worse for wear. It did it's job.

I'm sure I've never been close to the rates capacity but have used them as recovery items as well as pulling trees and stumps. Used as winch line extensions and tree savers as well as a basic tow strap. Have held up to snatch blocks and heavy pulls with a 10k winch. Was unable to register for warranty within the allotted time but for the price of the set, could easily be replaced if necessary. Would buy again!

Ok so this is preliminary to our pismo trip but we needed a new strap after our last trip so we purchased this one for the weight rating. I just received this strap and I am very impressed with the initial appearance of quality! I opened up the package and it is very heavy duty compared to some of the other tow straps that we have had. It also comes in a nice bag for easy and clean storage in the trailer. There was a business card which easily allowed me to Scan an image code and sign up for warranty within two minutes. On top of that they have a brochure about the company and I was extremely impressed to see they are donating 10% of all of their proceeds to Saint Jude‘s children’s research Hospital. That is a selfless act that as a parent I appreciate on behalf of all the kids who are or may one day have to use the facility. Kudos to GearAmerica and I will continue to support you all if only for that reason. I’ll look for folks to tow out this week and let you know how this thing performs.

This strap is definitely what they claimed it was. Use it for many heavy duty things around the property. Using it more than I thought I would because of its strentgh and durability. Purchased it to take trees down. Everyone said it wouldn't be strong enough and laughed at me for ordering it online but I read the specs and laughed at them when it showed up exactly as described.

Just got this strap yesterday... Opened it up and I was very impressed with the quality, stitching and length of the strap. As luck would have it, today I needed to use it. This strap is a BEAST! I didn't want to like it because I'm old school and it was the 4" flat and not the older round version. But au contraire was I wrong. This strap stows in a small roll wrap that fits easily under my truck seat. You roll it up, cinch it together with a velcro tie strip to keep it from unwinding and place it in a draw-string bag, and oh yeah, the bag and velcro tie strip is provided to you with your purchase. I only wish I would have recorded what I put it through today to show how awesome this tow strap is... It has these boot covers at both ends that helps prevent chaffing, I can tell you for a fact they work! If your looking to buy a good Tow Strap, buy this one. I promise you, you're not going to regret it.

First review ever but this was worth the time! I Broke 3/8" chain, broke 1/2" chain, had to figure something else out. I see this 20 ton strap and thought well worth a shot and I'm absolutely shocked it actually worked! Unfortunately I couldn't get the strap off the stump but well worth the one time use!

I looked at several tow strap options. Gear America seemed to have the best ratings. When it arrived, I was happy with the quality and how it was stored. Very compact and light weight. I haven’t had to use it, but if I do I feel confident it will do the job.

Not a whole lot to say about a toast strap but we pulled a jeep that was absolutely buried in the mud out with it. It worked.

Had someone call me and tell me they were broke down in a parking lot at Walmart in their motorhome. Went and helped them move to an appropriate spot with this strap.

I bought these tow straps to pull some stumps out of my courtyard, wasn't sure they were strong enough and might break, they worked great. Just to be clear, I did have to cut some roots but other than that they pulled those stumps out with my Nissan Pathfinder and a trailer hitch. I will use them again for other projects, very easy to use with the loops on each end. Don in El Paso, Tx.

Most reviews here haven't actually seen use yet, they were "security blanket" purchases. This isn't that review, nor is it sponsored in any way. Just my credit card, observation, and opinion. Product delivered 1Feb21. Today is 25March21. In the 2 months I've had these they've been used to unstuck several vehicles from Alaskan winter conditions: a snowcat, a teleskid, pickups, atvs, snowmachines... Caked in snow & ice, frozen in (-20) degree conditions, run over numerous times, put away cold & wet yet not a single thread out of place. The carry bag in nice (the few times I've actually used it). While these haven't seen muddy conditions just yet, that's a couple weeks away still, I'm already a fan of this brand and am excited to order more of their products to create recovery bags for each of my vehicles.

I use these straps to pull out shrubs in my lawn care/landscaping business as well as my lawn mowers when they get stuck. I don't take particularly good care of the straps aside from keeping them out of the sun and they are still going strong after purchasing them in August 2019. I wouldn't use them in their current state for anything where life/limb was at risk, but they still have plenty of ability left for using them to remove plants/trees/shrubs.

Built very well! Used it to yank my buddy's RAM out with my Gladiator Rubicon & Smittybilt winch. Performed very well. Nice storage bag.

I was rounding out the winch recovery kit I put together in my Jeep and needed a second tree strap for redirected pulls. Wish I would have found this one first. This strap is well made, but flexible enough it can stow in the storage well in the back of the Jeep. Put it to use recently in a little rigging/winch recovery 'class' I put on for my wife. She is one smart girl and could probably pull off a vehicle recovery herself now and I'd bet do it safer than most men. We did a straight pull from a tree, a snatch block redirected pull back to the front of the Jeep, an offset pull using a snatch block and two tree straps, and then wove the 2 straps together to extend the winch cable and straight-line winched her truck. Bottom line: you need two straps. This one gets 5 stars from me. The little platinum blonde I live with gets 5+ stars.

Bought this in addition to 4 heavy shackles and 2 towing straps and a rescue hitch. I have a 18 JGC Limited with a towing package and the hitch fits nice a snug in there, the pin fits nice and tight, the strap has some weight of it, its not a toy, it will take a beating. 30' even if you double the strap is far enough to get out of the way of a pulled truck coming out of a ditch, I think(hope). I don't go off road or trails, but I do go in some nasty blizzards and rain storms. I see trucks sliding off the road all the time. Always be prepared for the unexpected. made a tool box just for the straps, hitch, shackles and some tools. Be careful out there!!!

Product was great and seems to be worth the money so far. 5 stars for the product. My problem is that they sent me a email with a 10% off coupon to purchase another one of their products. I was like great, I need to buy some tree savers. So, when I went to order the coupon kept telling me invalid. I clicked on the little button that asked if this message was helpful and responded that it wasn't because the coupon was invalid. I never got a response so, no biggie, I just bought some cheaper tree savers that work just as good as good. I split the difference hence my 3 stars. Updated my review due to them reaching out to me and apologizing. I did not contact them directly, I did it through amazon so they may not have gotten the message forwarded to them. I do appreciate the gesture. Thanks.

I bought this strap because of its high break strength rating. I had a 40 ft high cube container delivered to my property, but because of the trees the driver was not able place exactly where I wanted it. I rented a dozer and pulled the 8,500 lbs. container most of the way with no problem at all. Due to a small working area for the dozer I had to loop the strap up a number of times (as seen in the picture). I finally positioned it where I wanted it. I saw very little damage on the strap after I removed it. All the reviews I read before I purchased this strap all had to do with towing, so I hope this review of a different use and weight involved is helpful.

I have been in the market for a tree saver strap for a long time and kept putting off this inexpensive gear purchase. I have looked at several other manufacturers and just never felt "sold" on the product. I found GearAmerica products to be a favorite and has been recommended to me a number of times. As with most online purchases I expected just a basic product packaging for a tree saver strap. This company has done very well with their product packaging and presentation, including a bag for the strap was a big plus to me. They also include a couple information cards and a sticker, great to see small details like this still being used. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase and will be adding more GearAmerica recovery gear to my collection.

It’s my second GearAmerica strap, when I bought my first one I was amazed with the quality and now with the tree saver it’s no different… Already used it a couple of times and all I have to say is that it’s a MUST HAVE on your recovery gear.

I did a lot of looking around and decided on gear America. Honestly I’m hoping never to have to us it so unfortunately i can’t tell you how well it works but I got it for those outer beach days. I went a little overkill with the 4”x30’ one but I’m sure I will be happy if and when I have to use it. This thing looks and feels like a true beast. Im a little upset about price cause for the price I spent on this with other company’s I could of got 2 D link shackles with the strap but I can’t knock stars off that. They do say you get what you pay for and from what I see with this strap I shouldn’t be disappointed.

Very well made, love the protectors that move. Nice Velcro raps to keep them organized in the bag. Only beef and it’s not much is the bag is a two string bag, would be much better if designed like a sleeping bag stuff sack with a toggle. Not a deal breaker, just my preference.

Haven't used product yet, but it seems to be made of quality. Item is thick and has weight to it so I'm sure when the time to use it will pass the test.
