Solid piece of steel. Incredibly good looking and strong. The “security” feature is kinda flawed as anyone with the key can steal yours but hopefully the folks who buy it are decent enough to let you enjoy yours. Solid 5 stars. Great product.

These babies could pull a 18 wheeler if needed. Super strong and incredible quality. GOOD ISN’T CHEAP AND CHEAP ISN’T GOOD! These are ASESOME and made in America!!!

They are perfect for mounting onto a bumper’s toe eyes as long as they’re 7/8”. They’re locking so I won’t lose them and provide a simple key for removal as required. They include poly washers for perfect fitment. Good tow rating, too. Highly recommended by this JLR enthusiast.

These are very nice with the rubber or plastic spacers to prevent movement then the lock to prevent theft!

They are good and heavy, lock well so no one can just walk up and take em, fit in the holes of the bumper well. Their a little lighter than mojito green like our jeep.

The product seems to be a good product but does not fit my truck, not wide enough opening. I knew it might not but wanted to try. 7/8 pin on these. And I know 1 inch shackles fit. But still a good product and I own several different items from Gear America which seem to be of high quality

I do a ton of recovery work when wheeling and road tripping for weeks at a time in my Tundra. These are absolute beast shackles and show little wear. I've had a number of previous shackles stolen and the locking system on these is good enough for me to have not lost a single one so far and I have 4 of them constantly mounted to my tundra bumpers. Great colors and coatings and they have polymer protectors for your soft ties, and enough washers to remove play on any bumper or shackle set up.

We purchased two sets for out 12 ton wreckers for recovery. So far, they have been able.to do everything we have thrown at them. Not one has deformed, broke chipped, nothing. Of course my opperators are professionally certified and trained recovery personalle, so they adhere strictly to WLL and know rigging and the mathematical formulas of resistance, pull, angles, etc. But for the off road jeep weekender, these would be more than plenty. Infact, when we recover jeeps from lakes, swamps, trails, we pull off their 4t shackles and install these to make sure we are covered. So yea, Id say if our operators can use these shackeles in life saving situations, and put their life and $250k wreckers on the line, they are good!

These shackles are awesome and are backed by an also awesome company. My original order came with a small defect in one of the locking pins, it wouldnt fully lock in and seemed to keep spinning as i tightened. (not the end of the world, the shackle was still on and worked. I let the company know about the pin and asked if they could just replace the pin. A completely new box of shackles arrived in the mail. Gear Americas Customer service is really great and you need that to back up a great product. The replacement shackles are flawless and i will definitely be a returning customer. Thankyou Gear America Sean - Tree Worx

This shackle is huge. It hangs off my John Deere gator like a ham meat sack. The security thing is not really relevant for my installation but if this was going on a vehicle that is parked in a rough part of town rest assured no thief will steal this they will just jack your vehicle and leave this thing alone. I have an older version of this shackle that does not have the security thingy. This newer shackle is larger than my older version. Hard to believe you need a larger one unless you have this on a rotator or rescue vehicle. But as they say bigger is better.

And best of all, I dont have to worry about them getting jacked. The tool to install them is unique enough that I know people arent just going to be walking around with them.

Just as described they are perfect. Comes in other colors they are easy to install. And they are also cheaper on Amazon than other places I’ve looked. Great product.

We were on a trail and one of our Jeeps slipped off the edge of a cliff and got the rear wheel all the way to the axle stuck on a rock. We had to use multiple winch points. One where the Gear America shackle was used to lift the entire rear end of the Jeep. The shackle didn’t show it was even used and amazingly enough the Jeep was fine. I will only use these shackles on our Jeep’s.

Complete the look of my vehicle. The security feature is nice to have, one of the reasons I chose these over other options. Not fool proof, but will definitely keep honest people honest. These are beefy looking shackles, and I have every confidence they will hold up should I need to use them.

Due to the configuration of my bumper the installation was a pain in the ass but like I said that was more of how my bumper is built and not the shackles. They have good weight to them and the extra washer allowed to snug these babies up to keep the rattle at a minimum. I have not had to use these yet for a recovery but I will update my review if and when that happens. Don’t mind the photo. I still have more lights to install. Ha ha ha

Well the last of my shackles either fell off, or was stolen from my Jeep. I set out to find a quality replacement when I found these. These are incredibly sturdy feeling and I like that they included any vibration/rattle washers. The biggest selling point to these for me were the anti theft feature. I like the ability to secure these but it would be nice if 2 keys were included instead of just the one. Would recommend and buy again.

I bought these because of the anti-theft feature. The screw was difficult to install in my bumper because I needed more clearance to get the triangle tool in to tighten it. I contacted the company to try and get a low profile right-angle triangle driver but never heard back. I was able to use a low profile allen wrench instead and love the look and security of these shackles.

I got this shackle to finish off my receiver hitch, and really like the fact that it has a security feature that will keep the average, opportunistic thief at bay. It fits perfectly in the mount, and looks good doing so. The shackle is extremely beefy, and looks like it will hold up to some extreme pulling if necessary.

Awesome, heavy duty shackles! Love the security feature. Ordered two pairs of red shackles, one box had black ones inside. Amazon remedied the problem instantly and shipped two more red ones. The return process was very simple. First time I’ve had a problem on Amazon and was very impressed how quickly they fixed.

Build Quality Seems Solid, matches the color scheme of my truck perfectly. Wish they came with a set of the rubber chain guards (Used the red ones from my last set). Other users reported rust and paint dulling after a short period. Will update the review if anything goes wrong. Will be purchasing a set for the front bumper soon. A+ so far.

With the anti-theft feature, I am no longer worried about my shackles being stolen. While a voracious thief could get them off, it is far less likely to happen with these beauties. Great job folks.

Just put them on so we’ll see how they hold up. Got the ones that have the key. Been nice to have some instructions in the box on how to unlock them. Was able to figure it out but others might struggle. I like you can remove the locking portion when wheeling in case you need to remove a shackle right quick.
