Extremely pleased with this product. I originally bought the Brica mirror from a brick and mortar store with the little night light and the music and the remote, etc! However, that product could only be mounted on the headrest corresponding to the seat that the carseat is in. I'm an advocate of trying to seat my carseat in the very middle seat (for safety and also so I can access from driver- or passenger-side). The problem with my old mirror is that it blocked 95% of my rear-view when mounted in the middle headrest! THIS mirror pivots on a ball joint, which means I can mount it on any headrest and angle it to get the ideal view of the carseat! On top of that functionality, the install was VERY easy (instead of buckling the straps in an x-formation, I buckled in a "+" formation, top-to-bottom and around the sides. Was able to cinch down very securely. I was worried about vibrations, looking from my rear-view mirror to the headrest mirror to the carseat, but I see very little vibrations while driving, if at all! Lastly, it's a really large, clear mirror, so I get a good view of the carseat, no problem.

I'm using with our 2nd baby now and it still rotates when need be. The mirror is clear wide enough for a good view of baby. Easy to remove and reattach

I purchased 2 of these (1 for each car) so we can keep an eye on our granddaughter when she spends the day with us and we are in the car. First, let me say the mirror is very simple to attach and adjust if you have a headrest. Not sure what you would do if you didn't have one. The mirror angle is easy to adjust to make sure you can see your passenger. The mirror is also quite large making it easy to see and easy to adjust. The only complaint I have is that it is like watching a tv screen with my granddaughter on it and it's hard to take my eyes off of my rear view mirror when I am driving. For safety and quality I recommend everyone with a little one in the back seat get one of these mirrors.

Love this mirror for rear-facing baby car seat. I bought this for my daughter who was 5mo old when we started our 4-day road trip just the two of us. It is very large and doesn't have a con caved or fun-house mirror effect to it. She even looks in it back at me and smiles, giggles, and even cries because she can see me. It has also helped when she started coughing and choking on her spit up, and I was able to see and react in time. I shopped around to find a mirror that was big enough and gave the best reflection for view from the driver's seat. The mirror has a criss cross of two buckle straps that are pulled snugged behind the head rest, so you can adjust according to your car. I would definitely recommend this to any new mom who wants to be able to keep a watchful eye on her baby while driving.

Easy to install and is half the price of my local store. The mirror is clear and the clips seem sturdy.

I have an active, Gordon Setter, 21 month old puppy. When we go somewhere in the car, she is always in a dog seat belt to keep her (and me) safe. But sometimes, she is below where I can see her in my rear view mirror, and of course, turning around while driving to see what she might be up to is unsafe. So I wanted an inexpensive, low tech way to accomplish this and the baby back seat mirror really is a big help. I can tell if she's looking out the window, curled up and sleeping, or chewing on a part of the car seat! I feel that we're both better off with this simple tool and highly recommend it to anyone who needs to see what's going on in your back seat.

After summarily dismissing the notion that some sort of product would be able to show both my and my wife a offspring a superior to deguarotype realistic moving likeness of our child, I must admit I was quite shocked. After placing this mirror in the back of the wagon and seeing our child's visage in it we immediately thought it was a bewitched piece of glass sent to us in yet another plot by my nemisis. After a lengthy ceremony to remove any enchantments (it wasn't bewitched, btw), we replaced the magic glass in the wagon of the traveling show, where momma used to dance for the money they'd throw, but alas, I digress. That is another tale for another time. It has worked quite well ever since. Huzzah to the wizards and Equinox international, and please cease spamming my email to review you.

I never write reviews on Amazon, but this product has been a real life saver. I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old and we have decided to rear face as long as possible. Our old mirrors were a big pain, they moved out of place all the time. These were reasonably priced and solved the problems I had with the old mirror. They strapped really well to the headrest and I was able to tighten them a lot. The mirror is wide and very clear, and the best part is they don't move!! My son can get his feat up on it (we have high car seats) but even when he kicks at it, it only pivots down and we can still see him. I feel so much better with these mirrors installed.

Got one for my wifes cars and we like it so much we got a second for mine. It works awesome. Wish we had bought these from the beginning. Kid loves to be able to see us when we look back at him and it also makes it so we can see what he's doing. Its nice and big, reflection is clear, doesn't rattle at all like I read about some other versions of these things, seems like it is a quality product, works great, and was a great price. When shopping for these I saw others that we twice+ the price for the same thing. This thing is great and is quality. Huge fan

I have owned 3 types of mirrors similar to this, and this is by far the best one! I live in the country down lots of gravel and thus mirror stays in place much better than any of the other options out there. The stabilizer allows me to position the mirror and not worry about it moving around or sliding to where I can't see my baby. The mirror is also very nice in size. Not too big and not too small but it has a really nice wide angle so I can see my baby from the waist up very clearly. I love this mirror. Going to purchase another right now for baby number 2 that's due in a few months.

Great big mirror. I was a little worried about some of the reviews saying that the straps easily slipped or the mirror moved with each bump. Most other mirrors had the same reviews so I decided to buy this one because of the large mirror and the mostly positive reviews. So far the mirror doesn't move and yes the straps did slip the first time, but I decided to cross the straps (so they form an X in the back) and that seems to make them not move at all. The straps could just be on tighter as I tighten them when the straps were parallel and crossed them after wards. It works so, doesn't matter.

We bought this mirror in preparation for a road trip with our 1 1/2 year old. I hate not being able to see her when in my husband's truck (I've had a back seat mirror in my car since she was born). I went to purchase the same mirror we have in my car, but found this one with the same specs for $10 less. It's easy to install and adjust and has great range. My husband's truck doesn't have a middle headrest, so we had to install this on the driver's side backseat headrest (our daughter's car seat is behind my seat). I can easily see her since the mirror can be adjusted/tilted enough. We would definitely purchase this mirror again.

Fantastic product that allows you to see what's going on with you baby in the backseat. Nice large mirror size. Have noticed that after transitioning from infant carseat to Extend-2-fit, it's a lot more difficult to see because of how much higher up the newer carseat sits. My baby is now 2yo, and with her sister on the way at the end of the summer, we'll probably have to get another one of these mirrors so I can see them both.

This mirror works great in my SUV! i had another mirror that was smaller that i could only see the babies face. my SUV has dark tint and dark seats, add a dark carseat and its hard to see my little guy. This mirror helped with that! not only can i see him more clearly in lower lights, but i can see most of his body which is helpful. the mirror was easy to install and is easily adjusted. only complaint is that it is easy to bump the mirror and move it sometimes.

This mirror is great and easily installed & adjusted! I wish they had this type of mirror when my other 3 children were babies! It was always such a pain adjusting the regular mirrors - I love how you can adjust it to any angle! The mirror is also very big & clear! I'm very happy with this purchase! Side note - there is a picture on the box of a cute kid buckled into the strangest car seat. It looks just like a 5-point harness car seat....but without the chest clip...there's no way that's safe!! Easily the best mirror I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot. It is very clear and slightly convex for a wider view. I was having trouble seeing over the handle of my car seat so I turned it long ways and now I can see my baby perfectly. The straps are a bit difficult to tighten and it took a bit longer than I expected to buckle on, but it doesn’t move when I drive unlike many other mirrors I’ve tried. We will be buying a second for hubby’s car.

I went through a few rear view mirrors before finally getting this one. Very happy with it. It's easy to attach. Although...it buckles onto the back of seats so it can be a little challenging to attach to seats that do NOT have a space between the headrest and the actual seat if that makes sense. The seats in our car do not have a gap and we did have to adjust the straps a bit to make it secure. However, it's worth the effort. The size and clarity of the mirror are great and unlike the ones we tried before, we don't have any issue with the mirror falling because the ball joint is flimsy.

I was very pleased with the quality of this mirror. It was a little larger than I expected, but it fits perfectly on the seat! Our little one (18 months) really got a kick out of it and having the mirror in place allows him to see more from his back-facing car seat. It's a sanity saver for sure! From the parent's perspective, it's nice to be able to glance up at the rearview mirror and catch baby's reflection. Perfect for seeing if baby is sleeping or otherwise doing okay when things get a little quiet.

I loved how it was able to be installed, but the mirror was able to move. My child sat in the middle with no head rest so I was able to install behind the passenger seat and position the mirror to still easily see while driving.

I have the ones that just straps to the head rest but it didn't work that great because it would never face down toward baby all the time. I would have to stick a small item to it would stay facing down and It would shift from time to time. With this adjustable mirror, I can see my baby with no issues. Love this out of all mirrors out there.

I insisted I didn't want a mirror because I thought it would be too distracting, so I didn't register for one. Sure enough once baby came I ended up coming on here and ordering what turned out to be a rather ginormous mirror. I love having it though. I think baby has figured out he can see me a bit and when he starts to cough it's reassuring to look back and see if he's okay. Despite it's size it doesn't distract me from driving as much as I thought it would.

I'll be honest, it's really helpful to see whether a sneeze is just a sneeze or a snot ejection exercise, and to help calm or cheer up my son when he's cranky in the backseat. I think he likes it more than I do! It was easy to install and I'm thinking about ordering another one for my husband's vehicle or rental cars when we travel. I will probably make this a standard gift to my friends as they start their families.

This is a solid product. Put it in my ‘14 forester. If everything right, you’re good. I didn’t have any problems. It has a big viewing surface. I was able to see the little one very well. Definitely adds peace of mind. The mirrored surface is some sort of plastic. The unit is fairly light weight. Still feels sturdy though.

I love this mirror. Driving without it is super scary. It has sturdy straps in the back which you can make tighter or looser as needed. I kinda wish the mirror had a light but that's not super necessary for me since when I'm driving at night, my son usually falls asleep. I can always turn on the back light in the car to see him if needed. Note to buyers- i think it says to clip the harness parallel to each other. I did a crisscross because it felt more sturdy this was.

I bought this mirror for my husband new vehicle so he could see our baby girl and I ended up taking it because I liked it so much and gave him my old one. It is very large so I can see her and she can see me. I LOVE the orbital ball that gives the ability to turn the mirror down towards her. It fits our jeep grand Cherokee headrest on the tightest setting.

We LOVE this mirror! We actually just bought a second one! It’s large enough that we can both see baby from our seats and baby can easily see us! It doesn’t seem to ever fog and doesn’t really get dirty either. There’s also next to no warping even bear the edges. They’re easy to attach and a state trooper even commented once how impressed he was with how secure they were at a car seat inspection station!

I bought this for my grandson so I could see him in my car. My son in law recommended this one to us. He researches everything and only buys the best! We love it! Very sturdy, easily adjustable, and has a clear view. Not only does us allow to see our grandson it allows him to see things!
