Ice Cube Tray With Lid & Bin

Normally I am not an ice-user, but this summer has been brutal. My family buys bags of ice at least once a week, but I have found the cubes to be too large, and they tend to stick together, causing everyone to have to smack them with something akin to a hammer to break them apart or, their favorite, drop the bag repeatedly on the ground to break them apart. This cube maker is so much cleaner (and quieter) and the cubes are just the perfect size. The container holds to tray-fulls of the cubes so when you get low, you are always making more in the silicone top part. I am not used to using silicone trays, so my only fumble is getting used to turning the thing over and accurately punching the cubes into the tray. But that's my problem, not the manufacturer. The other downside (if you call it one) is the lid is not a snap-on type that locks into place. I don't see how they can really lock a lid into place on the silicon tray holding the cubes, so no fault there. Also, when the silicone cube part is not on the plastic holder, the lid just sits on top -- no locking of the lid on the bottom either. But, unless the whole contraption is going to be rocking around your freezer, I don't see the need for the top to lock on in the first place. Sometimes the lid did frost over when I pulled it out of the freezer and the frost would get in the way of the lid closing tightly, but that's because my freezer is on "arctic circle" so I just scrape off the frost and have no further problems. The cubes come out even and are the perfect size to fit in any container. I even put them in my tall "Entertainment Park" drink cups (cough cough Seaworld cough cough) with the long straw and they fit fine. The larger bagged cubes would sometimes be too clumped together to fit in the narrow opening. The little scoop they give with this item holds three cubes in a row (you could scoop more, but I am not a digger, so three at a time worked just fine for me). So far, so good. The family can spend their money and bang their bag of ice on the ground all they want. I will stick with this guy and make my own small, perfectly square cubes.

Now I know to some, ice is not that big of a deal. But let me tell you, I like my ice a certain way and it can make or break a good drink. I was curious if this was a good deal. It is a smaller more convenient ice tray. As I have made a couple rounds of ice in it, it has really impressed me. The cubes are a little smaller than the normal ice tray. Overall though, the ice last much longer and maintains it shape through a good drink with plenty of refill opportunities using the same ice. The tray itself if easy to clean and maintain. The clear box (ice cube holder) is ok at best. The lid doesn't fit all to well and I would not recommend making your ice inside the box. It takes a lot longer for the ice to freeze. I decided that I would just use the ice box to just hold the ice and also double the box as a ice try stand in the freezer. Beings that the tray is soft made from silicon, it doesn't hold a great shape when filled with water. For this reason you need to be extra careful putting the tray in the freezer and allowing it to rest on something that is fairly sturdy. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a lower priced quality ice tray that makes phenomenal solid long lasting ice!

Love this for our small freezer! It's about the size of a kids shoebox. The tray fits neatly into the bottom holder box. It's not made of silicone but the plastic still releases the ice easily. It's enough ice for 2 of us to enjoy with a drink, but if we need more we have to make some ahead. This is a good alternative to buying bags of ice.

I rent, so I don't have the option of changing my very old fridge. Thus, I'm stuck using ice cube trays in a shelf of my freezer. I wanted something that could make more cubes and store some while making more. This tray fits the bill! The lid doesn't snap in place, so it's not good for turning sideways, but otherwise it's a great way to keep food bits and smells out of the ice. It also means you can make ice ANYWHERE in your freezer... Just pop the lid on and place other items on top. That's a game changer if you have limited freezer space. It's the right height to fit standard ice cube shelf, should fit just fine on a side by side freezer shelf (if you'd like to use this for freezing other liquid) and holds a whole trays worth of ice under the tray so that's two trays of ice at a time. It's a great little tray... Honestly couldn't ask for more and the price is great. I can see using just the silicone tray for molding other stuff like chocolate and it cleans up easy. Really the only down side is the lid not snapping into place, though I just keep it up on a shelf. If you needed to keep it sideways, a bit of making take should hold it fine. Highly recommended!

This is a great ice container. I've tried others, but without a lid the water would spill everywhere. And the silicone makes it so easy to pop them out when they're done. Just turn over and pop them into the larger container. It's large enough that you can add more. Nice product, helps keep ice all in one place.

The bucket only fits a couple of trays worth of ice. The scoop is TINY, but it doesn't really bother me. So if you refill the tray also, you will have a maximum of three trays of ice. It works for a household of two but may not be great for a bigger family.

I was very skeptical about this ice cube tray as it doesn't seem to be easy to push the ice out. But it is actually super easy. you can basically get all the ice cubes out by pushing it once. I bought another one at the same time with the pointy tips on the lid. That one doesn't work very well as you will need to press it several times to get all the ice cubes out.

I originally bought this as a joke gift, you know “tiny ice tray, tiny ice cubes” but… it turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever bought. It doesn’t take up a ton of room in the freezer, the little scoop works great. Since it’s just the two of us, it produces enough ice cubes for our needs and the small size cubes are very versatile. If I have any complaint, and this is minor, the cover for the freeze tray gets covered in ice and needs to be defrosted. I would absolutely buy this product again and recommend it to all who don’t need a lot of ice and who don’t have a lot of room in their freezer.

Our family has been using the GREEN ice tray from this listing for months, until we accidentally broke it. When ordering replacements, we decided on the pink and blue trays… big mistake! They are SMALLER than the green option, and the trays are silicone/rubber and you have to push out each cube by hand! Terrible options compared to the green larger box, one twist of the tray and all your ice pops out smoothly. 1 star for the blue and pink options, 5 stars for the green!

I love the storage under the ice cube tray, I don't run out of ice cubes as often as I was before having the built-in storage bucket. So glad I got this!

I got it to go in a minifridge and luckily the tray and lid fits but the tub that holds ice under it won't so have to put that in the bigger freezer if I want to store ice elsewhere but I live in a house with other people so I use the mini fridge for certain things and I am a germ freak so if I know someone touched the ice tray without washing hands I don't usually want that ice I am picky like that I guess but anyway I do like this tray and just wish the bottom tub part of it came with a lid also but atleast the tray part came with a lid. Also when you break up the tray some to get the ice out it kind of crushes the ice on top a bit if you overfill a little which I like bc I like crushed ice and If you put in a good stainless steel mug with a lid the ice even the smaller than normal cubes will last a good few hrs or so it did for me anyway. I am considering ordering another soon bc I have looked all over for an ice tray that I really love and this one fit the bill for me so I may order another just to save incase this one gets damaged or something bc I love how it makes smaller than normal sized cubes and a bunch of them and the tray part seems pretty well made and not real cheap also like a thicker plastic. Very happy with this purchase:)

Recently my daughters by making these little coffee smoothies all the time (too much caffeine for her in my opinion but you know I’m not gonna stop her) The icemaker that we usually use the ice is too big so she always ends up of the chunks of ice in her coffee smoothie thing. (The big ice cubes practically broke my precious blender and the house smells like burnt rubber and engine because of the blending) she complains about it too much I was done hearing about her complaining so I got this ice mold hoping that The Cubes whould be smaller and it would help her with her blending. It did and honestly I think I like it more than she does. I’m happy I got it because it has a lid on it and it also has an area where you can keep the extra ice. Now I don’t have to hunt through other ice cube trays to find frozen ones when I’m trying to make my drinks (The ice cubes are good for making my margaritas😂) I would definitely recommend this product.

I LOVE THIS ICE TRAY. I live in a NY apartment. Know what that means? I’ll tell you- TINY FRIDGE which means EVEN TINIER FREEZER. For two years I wasted my time with dollar store ice trays that cracked, were annoying to clean and annoying to pop the ice out. I was hesitant to get this one at first because I used to have a silicone/hard plastic combo ice tray and it was even worse than the dollar store ones. I took a chance on this bc the reviews were good. LET ME TELL YOU. no need to shuffle multiple ice trays around with water splashing all over the place. The container fits about two trays of ice so it’s easy to have a rotation going. I actually keep the silicone ice tray on top of the lid, with the lid on the container- this allows for more room in the container for ready made ice. Every time I take ice out of the container, the tray that’s been freezing goes in. AND THE CUBES ARE SO EASY TO POP OUT. dare I say, I sort of look forward to using this ice tray... yes. I said it. And I love that they’re smaller than the normal cube. It’s a space saver and all around I’m really really pleased. YAY!

Arrived in good condition with everything. Top tray is removeable so you can fill the ice tray as well as has a nice lid so you don't spill water after you've refilled the ice tray. Lid and container don't snap together as a warning but that's not a big deal to me. So far it's worked perfectly and doesn't take up too much space in my freezer.

This is perfect for one person household it doesn't take up a lot of room in your freezer I make ice in the morning and again at night I love it

Who knew something simple as simple getting a new fancy ice tray would be exciting. I had a simple old fashioned ice tray that you had to frequently smack against the counter to get the ice out. Oh the misery lol. This is a game change for us folks whose fridges don’t make ice. Getting the ice out is very easy and simple, just a little twist and all the ice can be popped out and into the storage container it comes with. The scooper is a cute addition and complements the cube ice perfectly. Get this, you won’t regret it.

Our ice maker broke and we found this one. I love the fact it comes with a scoop and it's own little ice bucket. The ice tray has a lit so you never have to worry about spilling water when transporting it to the freezer. It is small but works perfectly for us.

This ice cube tray is small enough to fit 4 of them in the freezer of the mini fridge I have at work. They make a good amount of ice and the storage portion means that I can always have extra ice if I need it. After a little use, the ice does start to come out broken, but for my purposes that's fine.
